Advantage: you are a long haul for any attackers assuming they actually locate you.

Disadvantage: you are looking at an equally long haul to attack anyone.

Note: my fleets hardly ever are at my base anymore and I operate from a member base instead, using fleet 3 as a sort of resupply fleet.

Recommend an increase to investigation probe range and speed increase to wide range probe asap or perhaps an ability to start probes from a selected arbitrary point (from a fleet would really be ideal)

And perhaps an "investigation eye in the sky" ?

You can hide all kinds of things out there, maybe everyone should gang bang it and have a party?

We really should try to get another member again to at least have 3 members. Despite TOC's current lead, it won't count in alliance standings.
Also very hard to play "flag game with just 2 guys.
Not too sure what happened to our membership...they just disappeared !

I also agree with this. Currently, I don't need base protection fleets.

Due to the fact dsp readouts and vector components in a dsp reading are rounded off to +- .01 and +- .001 the accuracy of my code alogs. diminishes with inaccuracy increasing to the square of the distance. So attempts to extend vc and ttc results past 80 sectors or so radius from these readings is not getting the additional results.
Gonna have to recode both and maybe scan st player space as a grid (sector by sector in succession....selected via vector direction...)
