Greetings all you experts. I wanted to build a 1 man army ship and hoped to achieve it with reasearching the following.

What i expect it to do.

It spawns 5 hammers that dammage all cl 2 and 3 ships.
Then it spawns 5 spectres that dammage all cl 1 ships
Then there are some appolo cruisers and 100 missiles to harm whats left ofcl 3
And then in the CL 4 battle it blows up all dammage ships.
If the ship gets destroyed it heals itself to live another day.

Will the ship do that and will it work as intended?

creates 5 hammers in your own fleet in class 1

creates 5 spectres in your own fleet in class 2
battlemessage: "pirate carrier launches spectres ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: create,self,5,2,spectre,pirate carrier launches spectres)
creates 20 apollo cruiser in your own fleet in class 3
battlemessage: "pirate carrier launches appollo cruisersf ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: create,self,20,3,apollo cruiser,pirate carrier launches appollo cruisersf)
destroys already damaged in class
(battle engine syntax: blast,ship vaporizes damaged ships)
trigger_destroy it reconstructs 5 itself in your fleet in the class it is fighting with (technical LP +1000 to ships that have less than 1 LP)
battlemessage: "nanobots swarm over the ships outer shel land repair it instantly ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: trigger_destroy@reconst,self,5,this,itself,1000,nanobots swarm over the ships outer shel land repair it instantly)
creates 100 missiles in your own fleet in class 3
battlemessage: "pirate carrier launches missiles ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: create,self,100,3,missile,pirate carrier launches missiles)

welcome to the forums mortixx. i'm sure you'll fit right in.

now, about your invention.
there are a few reasons why this ship will not work. first, it is a class 4 ship, therefore the ships it creates will not activate in that battle (since the created ships belong to lower classes that have already fought).
which brings me to the second reason why this ship is flawed - it creates ships that stay in your fleet after the battle. so it would be easily possible to exceed your maximum mp count.
there are more reasons for this ship never to be in the game, but the main point is - This ship is a monstrous collection of different battle syntaxes that can never be balanced.
this ship just tries to do too much.
here's some good advice for everybody who plan on inventing new ships.
GO WILD, BUT KEEP IT SIMPLE!

just examine existing technologies. most of the ships have maximum one special ability. and a lot of useful ships have no special abilities.

Howdy mortixx,

Welcome to the ST Forum.
Designing ships is only one of the many fun things of ST.

Your first design is very ambitious. The idea of hiding a fleet in 1 ship is very cool. But I have to agree with Senor that you are trying to incorporate too many syntaxes. To keep the balance of the game you would need to remove too many of your Ideas. For this ship My advice is to look more at the other class 4 ships and how much they can do then compare this ship to those.

I think you will see that when a ship is powerful is some uses it will be vulnerable in other uses. Don’t get discouraged and keep on playing.

Ah okay. Thanks for the welcome and well i wanted to be ambitious with a nice monster flagship.

Ah well on to the next invention. There has to be a way to make a pirate fleet that actually works.
