more wormholes leading to the black hole

we discussed, that it should be easier to reach the black hole

a solution would be by a wormhole
we could add more wormholes that connect distant parts of the galaxy with the black hole area but to prevent these big wormholes from being abused we could add a feature that the wormholes are fixed routes, that once you entered the wormhole, you cannot change course anymore until you reach the other end

With a decrease in population and the size of ST, currently I don't even try to get to places that are over 2500 ly away unless I have very good reason.
Too much time flying...not enough time fighting !

ATM, all pre-warp planets with ships are 40 - 60 sectors away so..forget that this evo.
Too far to go.
If the travel times are tightened up you could almost get 2 battles / 24 hrs.
On the other hand, if they are too close, not good either.

Even though ST is done in real time, sometimes there are stretches where it is boring. During this boring time, you lose new players as well.

I think that there should be super wormholes to places like Alpha 3, NanoLaure, NanoBoard, and BlackHandWarMachine where the players can easily access the extra techs... all of these locations are currently at least 34sectors to 74sectors from me right now... and during wartime you don't have the time to take a 2-3day roadtrip to gather some useful techs... which would be of extensive use during wartime...

although I'm not sure where you'd put the entrances to the Super WH to make it fair...
