up to now we finance this projekt personally. any tips to find sponsors

we found the faster server now since april spacetrace is hosted on http://www.canssl.de
with 6GB traffic and 200MB space.
this will be enough for 10.000 active players

Well I`ve just make up a new new product category at ciao.com, named spasetrace.com...
I wrote a quite long text about ST and it seems that some guys are interested in spacetrace, due they voted for very helpful...

Ciao.com bietet eine Plattform wo Kunden produkte aus allen verschiedenen Bereichen bewerten und Erfahrungsberichte darüber schreiben. Diese Berichte wiederum werden von den Usern bewertet, so das man sich eine ziehmlich objektive Meinung über ein Produkt (wie zB. Spacetrace ) bilden kann. (nebenbei bekommt der Autor auch ein paar Cent pro User der seinen bericht liesst, solange er positiv bewertet wird)
Naja und da mein Bericht mit sehr hilfreich bewertet wurde scheints den Leuten wohl zu gefallen...

So, viel spass beim uebersetzen, bin jetzt zu faul dazu...
Falls GAAAANNZZZZ grosses interesse an ner engl. Fassung besteht koennt ich mich ja ransetzen... *überleg* mal schauen

Hmm well ok, what they mean by cheating is basicly that the same users vote over and over again. We can get ST back on that page if you want, but they don't like the same users voting over and over again, that's basicly the idea.
Well it's their policy, nothing we can do about it.

If you remove gamelog.nl of the vote page. Than i can ask the webmaster to set ST back.

Because gamelog is a new website (excist about 2,5 weeks now), but has about 1500 pageviews a-day.

But the webmaster signed a contract with a big dutch company (it has a tv show in holland too, http://www.wannahaves.nl, the dutch people know the tv show) and they gonna work together. He can get about 60.000 pageviews extra a day (not for sure, but a good chance). So it is important to come back on the site.

So if you remove gamelog.nl of the voting page, than i can ask the webmaster again to set ST back. He is the same webmaster of http://www.gamie.nl and about 20 other sites.

The link is on wannahaves and gamelog. But i think you only see it of gamie.

Because the games on wannahves is linked to the games of gamelog.nl.

So, i think, all hits is only of gamelog.nl (but excist wannahaves and gamelog together)

So gamie.nl is alone and gamelog.nl is probally gamelog and wannahves together.

What i've found on top50.. :

strategy multiplayer space online game

hmm.. not very attractive..

Add game to other sites aswell. Write some interesting and attractive info. Put some nice screens!! Hardly anyone bothers checking game without any screens. Furthermore ST has a lot to show (technology tree, ships picks and etc.)

Well, that's a start
Keep going like that. by the way, i would delete those screens with galaxy map, it looks too much sophisticated and average player (not too far from noob) won't be excited seeing that. Though other screens are nice, i would add one or two buildings aswell.
