I jut had a battle and made about 3000 points. My alliance score went up appropriately, but my personal score only went up about 1000 points.

Is there something going on that I do not know about? Is this a bug?

I just opened this alliance yesterday, and I am the only one in it. After my fight, it says this...

score of your members: 1745
alliance score: 3289

My score should be slightly higher than my alliance score, because I had about 600 or so points before I started the alliance.

Whats going on?!?!

(I dont want to post the BRs to protect the innocent)

I want my points!!!!

achilles... the member score is what your total score is for all members of the alliance... the member score is what is used for the flag capture... the alliance that captures a flag would get 20% of the alliance member score...

the alliance score is what your alliance's score is for the era...

your score can be found on the statistics page or on the HQ page...

This is every single battle report I have. My total score from these is 3308. I also held the Nebula overnight, and gained several hundred from it. Before I fought today, my score was just over 1000.

My score is now:
your score: 1745
credits: 20

I only pointed out my alliance score, because I am the ONLY PERSON IN MY ALLIANCE. So, my alliance score is correct, as posted above.

My personal score has been ripped off about 2000 points. Can I get this fixed please.

In a day or so, you can feel free to check my battle history and confirm that my score is off. I am not new, and I am not making a mistake. (Unless if the rules have changed or something, in which case I want clarification.)

Lol.

Yes I am the FC of course. That explains that, I suppose. I dont really like that rule, but I have nothing to say about it.

One question though, why would a one man alliance need to have a FC anyways? Its pretty obvious that I have the flag, after all. All I want is my own MTWG, and to be able to get on the scoreboard for holding the Nebula.

Is there any advantage at all to being the FC, anyways?

If not, I guess Ill probably have to delete the alliance. If I delete the alliance, can I get my score back then?

It would have been nice to get an automated message informing me of that when I became FC.

I have looked in the manual, and in the forums, and I cant seem to find the rule about fleet three not providing score for that player. I assume it is in the forum under a strange title somewhere. Can someone point me to it please?

achilles, you can find some information, and more links to stuff related, here...

http://www.spacetrace.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6540&start=60&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

this is why i think the extra mp for the FC should be locked at base coords, and all the fleets available for normal gameplay...

Thanks Linux, but that is all about keeping members in the alliance until their flag is retrieved or points claimed by enemy.

I still havent seen anything about the FC's third fleet not earning any points.

HOWEVER:

I do not have any extra mp.
I do not even have a flag.

Therefore, the rule about Fleet 3 should not apply to me under these circumstances.

(Honestly, besides seeing a couple of vague references to extra mp, I have seen no specifics. How much mp? When did this start? It's not in the manual!)

I know from the old days that the admin does not like one man alliances, but this is a heavy penalty. I dont like to argue with admin, and I dont like to complain, but I also dont like to get this kind of surprise. At the very least, I would not have used my fleet three for the biggest attack.

If I cant use my fleet three to earn points, maybe I should get the extra mp as well.

Otherwise, I would appreciate if those points could be added back to my score, and I will delete the alliance.

What is your alliance name?

If you want, I could semi-join your alliance, and you could set me up as flag commander to see what happens.. maybe then you would get your score back..

What do you think?

That's not going to work, but I appreciate the offer. Of course, its the SpaceBorne Rangers, for your information.

I only started up the alliance so that holding the Nebula would benefit something, besides the points. I was actually waiting to get a tag and pass to join another alliance.

Two thousand points is not even really that much. I just wish I knew ahead of time so I could make sure to maximize my winnings.

I suppose that I will just have to be happy that I deprived my opponent of those points

Also, I could just stay alone, and consider the alliance score my personal score.

that's about the reason things are as they are... it's to prevent an alliance that is about to loose the flag, to ban players and drop to 2 members, making it impossible to get the flag... there were some changes made to the FC, given an extra 2500 mp for flag defense, that should be locked to the third fleet, wich i don't agree, faster connection in the alliance twn heading to the fc...
in any case, admin should look into your situation, it has to be different for one/two men alliances...

FC get extra 50% of his MP.He can only have his natural MP in his fleet 1 and 2.That means that if you have 5000 MP you get 7500 all together but you can use extra MP only in base and fleet 3.Also fleet 3 is set to fly only towards your alliance bases. So for your case it should be useless. And since you can move your fleet 3 and you can attack with it(change attack codes) IT IS A BUG that score from your fleet 3 went to alliance score and not your personal as well.
So its a BUG and needs to be fixed.Or your fleet 3 needs to be stranded and always set to defence or you should get your points back.
Either way this update suck.

might want to go do some light reading.. you never made us delete.. unless you mean a few of our members in the end of the era changing accounts a day or 2 early by deleting which is what TO ended up doing themselves later (guess you guys did learn from the best after all)... now this war you talk of was the same one where my new players held your flag and made you supposed vets look like idiots right? the same one where shade used 8 different multis to attack our fc and rob hacked into my account.. good on you!

well I knew I'll get you interested and running the first day I got you in LXG.. you were just a bit slower than I had hoped but I'm still proud of you.
