lilly won. her font was bigger.

no, but really. i actually agree with lilly on this. i like the alliance score system we have now more than what mare proposed. it just seems logical to me that when you leave an alliance, that alliance doesnt lose score. maybe there were some pro's i'm not seeing right now, but...

Thinking about this I believe this could cause problems Failtrip

For example if a player decides to leave ten minutes before the evo finished

Why would your alliance be punished?!

Its your fault your base got blown up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not the first time someone base was blown up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why you think you are so special???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said I dont care If you have new account every ten seconds.I really dont care any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Senor how would you fell If Estonia should leave everything it had to Soviet Union?!
You brought your land and everything in Soviet Union and when you Ussr fall apart you took what was yours.
Same is here while in an alliance you bring to ally score.Points equals gold OK?
So why would you leave your gold to someone you are leaving it?

MJ why would that be a problem?
10 minutes or 20 days where is the difference.

And Lilly before you all go with super big fonts...Im against account deletion since always.I hated it 3 years ago as much as I hated it now.Its a loophole that enables normal game play to be established.

I think the biggest reason the player/alliance points was changed was to allow newer players that might have a negative score join a successful alliance and not hurt their score from having a negative score when they join.
Remember all the recruitment topics that stipulated a player must have positive score to join whatever alliance.
This wasn't good to encourage newer players to join established alliances. We had quite a few 1 and 2 man alliances of new players that started their own alliance and did not learn the game very well and ended up leaving.

So...with that historically laid out, we could again have the same problem emerge.
Not saying anything other than why I perceived the change was made initially.
At the time, it seemed like a good idea.

If memory serves me well it was changed because old system was designed for evo style of playing.THere werent any rounds and players evoed in and out so did the score.
Now we only set it back to way it way with exception that we have rounds now and its easier to determine the winner.
