I will be starting POALT in round 11. all players are welcome to apply however recruitment will be closed 72 hours after the start of the round.
Prank of a Life Time
POALT will attempt to train, exchange tactics and take the round. It will also give the opportunity for all those who talk a big game to face me with their fleets and post the results.
By Mighty
I have created the most successful training alliances before some of which include PFIU and LXG. however in my time I have learned that the best way to help make great players is to mentor them. this task can be very time consuming and difficult but it will also be very rewarding for both parties so the alliance will take in 2 new or inexperienced players for each mentor.
uhahaha
If you are interested PM me in forum, all are welcome however you must inform me of all your previous game and forum names and your history, current rank and also if you plan to act as a mentor or a trainee.
now lets see who can catch this msg first

I'll give you a tip.. zenachi

Now time for an update on POALT.

So far 2 people have applied both of whom I'll be glad to have play along side me. they can both be considered mentors so the alliance can offer as many as 5 open spots for new players now.

there will be a limit of 12 players. so far we are 3/12

I apologize as I didn't get around to the private messages earlier as I don't check this site that often.

Thanks Senor, I don't care about winning as much as I care about having fun, won enough times already

Senor, Zen, al12, linux.. you guys should join up Renee, you too.. we made good allies last time around when I was playing Ace and I look forward to learn a thing or two from your experience.

Let me just clear something,

To be a Mentor you need + score, good history and relatively high activity
To be a Trainee you need to qualify as not annoying!

mjx you fail the requirements for both categories so stop spamming my private box...

If you mean by join up to join your alliance, then sorry but I am part of WFS and at the moment I don't see myself leaving this alliance.

Don't feel bad Senor...me too !

I suspect I could change that if I were more active but .... WTF.... the points I give away are not entirely free.

T2 your still playing this game? the score is pretty irrelevant when it comes to good players with long history.. just shows you boys haven't been active.

I still log in every day and keep research going but as my computer is at work atm, the only time i get is at work. It never fails... I'll plan a strike and then I get interupted right at battle time. Result is usually losing points instead of making. I don't really mind however as I do provide legitimate targets for other players who are more active.

I also don't spend the time planning my battles as much as I have not settled on any 1 or 2 opponents and determined their style of fighting.
I don't like to hit the guys too often around my base but I retailiate on any that hit me just to let everyone know I'm not completely dead.

Until I get a 'puter at home, I don't know how much time I could contribute to a war. That's why I was thinking "wild card" in the mix.

yup. i miss the time when i could be online for any battle. alarm clocks for battles in the middle of the night were pretty usual. now with work and school there's no way i could afford losing sleep hours. but that's how life goes and i still enjoy playing.
