yes they are the official rules set out by the admin but what a lot of you dont realise we have a bunch of self governed rules set out by ancient vets- think of these rules as the geneva convention you wont be sent to prison if you dont follow them but america might fuck you up just cos they feel like it

these rules are

- no flaming
- no spamming
- do not post coords(i still dont understand why robs excempt from this)
- do not abuse bugs
- please try not to break spacebot

theres probably some other stuff but i cant be bothered to go into them

i posted the rules that are in game, you posted the forum rules

and rob is only posting his own coords.

There isn't realy a way to abuse bugs in the forum, so if it says not to abuse bugs I'd think that means ingame...

yawn... this is really starting to bore me....

in aug there was a bug in game (not in the forum) that affected my evo, i didnt report it because i didnt care, it obviously affected other players, one cryed about it and got pissy because i hadnt evo'd because of the bug. somewhere on here is was stated that the bug was fixed. so the topic is being used as a way for one player to try to dis on me because of said bug.

as stated earlier said player should grow up, and possibly said player should stop causing problems and be aware of what NoStars is doing than what one of the least scoring alliances is doing.

i forgot to say, that the bug also affected the player that is griping about it the most.

oh ya, and i had a 153% evo, all but 3 ship researched, -12000 points. so the bug didnt help me get a good score, in fact it helped to prolong a low score. so i really see no reason that this topic was dragged on as lon as it has been

you can post your own coords if you wish.

But you can't post your coords if they are misleading and/or they are actually someone else's coords.

Rob's case is pretty safe to say that it's actually his coords.

I created a creature... then tried to create another creature around the 24 hour mark... wasn't quite that time and my evo reset meanwhile my tech and my score stayed the same

that bug is fixed, it only occurred for the moment you released a creature into the universe.
once you log out and in again, the evo was correct again.

was this bug doing any harm anyway? apart from showing the wrong thing in HQ?

actually when I logged out and then back in the % stayed the same on the HQ screen... but other then that and giving me a massive high relative score it wasn't harmful... I deleted my account around the time that dominion would've come per my estimated calculations...

Isn't it so that it also gave you newbie protection? WHich means it could do harm as you can save yourself from an attack by setting a creature free and being untoucheble.

that could be, so please state what exploits were possible, and if they are fixed now.

i wonder if this has to do with the CtF-2-Members-one-evoed-out-Bug somehow also???
