nanite cloud (class 1 ship)


this nanite cloud infects a fighter and its wingman. nanites take limited but permanent control over the ships, effectifly making the ships regular fighters.


attack/life: 0/1
manpower: 5

researchtime: 1 d
buildingtime: 12 h


nanite-technology
needed research:
nano technology

battle details:modifies LP by -5000 of 2 ships of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in class 1, there are no known ships and buildings that survive this effect.
battlemessage: "infects ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: obliterate,enemy,2,1,all,infects)
creates 2 fighters in your own fleet in the class they belong and the created ships will stay in that fleet after battle.
battlemessage: "mutate in to fighters ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: create,self,2,stay,fighter,mutate in to fighters)
self destructs!
battlemessage: "nanite cloud is gone ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: sd,nanite cloud is gone)

this ship is best used when fighting fighters with 3 mp or more (Bulk fighters). it destroys the 2 bulk fighters scoring +6 mp, creates 2 fighters in your own fleet and then blows up -5 mp.

If ya'll are worried that there isn't much a of use for it the mp can be lowered to 3 or 4 and then I think the ship becomes a whole lot more useful, because then you will gain more points when fighting 2 mp ships instead of losing the points.

Also I think I was thinking about 2 different ships when I created this, that's why the language that would go in the BR sounds weird. I think I would change it to this.

Well, that certainly seems interesting.

Rubens or sommat (no, that's not a word) will probably point out a blatant mistake in the construction making it useless, but I think it's a pretty good.
