cc probe

the probe uses special technology to work out the last 3 attack- codes a person used. it will self destruct after one day of scanning the new co-ordinates. because of its big computer it takes a long time to build, but also is very fast.

I think this is to powerfull, finding out an alliance attackcode without them knowing about it this easy. If you are in war you take over the other alliance attackcode and they will have trouble battling you and it can take time to change over, especially if that alliance if holding a score planet or two members are at 1 planet.

change some thinks and it can change much in spacetrace....

1. Building time: 1 Week / 7 Days
2. Research time: 7 Days
3. Can only scan one time, after reaching and reporting self destruction
4. Speed 5

with that changes you must really think about it to use and no one spams with them and the aliances should change the Attack codes every 2 or 3 days...

i like the creativity with new types of probes, it must be possible to invent some usefull probes .
About this one i'm not sure. Its effect is limited to battles concerning alliances. Most situations are created because of members want to battle, this is actually a sort of battle-avoiding-probe. The only attacksituation i can think of its usefull (but i may miss the point), is in getting a scoreplanet (you plave a lot of mp on it, more then your enemy) and u dont need to battle. its lke using a cloacked fleet.
In defence its usefull to know the attackers code of cours if u dont want to battle, but, in crucial battles every alliance will set their attackcode new, if this probe excists. So: limited use, and to easy to avaoid its effect.

If i may abuse this thread for some suggestions about other probes ( maybe some are suggested before):

communicationprobe: copies all ingame pm send and received from/to players within reach to the probeowner, or at least shows from/ to who communication hapened
trackprobe: attaches itself to a MS in a fleet and sends coordinates during flight
anti xxx probe: disturbes xxx probe for some time (like scrambler, butagainst other kind of probes)
commanoscrambler: scrambles communication between HQ and al fleets within its range during xx hours
