sniff sniff

I'll shut up now.

Sorry Connor

Sorry DavAlan

Sorry Vrictus cos I know you hate the guts out of me.

Ahhh... MJ...we like you...were just not overly struck on your insistence on taking up space in every topic for more casual conversation rather than providing information, facts or a good flaming.
You deleted /edited your post before I got a chance to read it but from DavAlan's post of your quote, it looked like an attempt to flame Connor.
Are you feeling the heat of War? Don't whimp out now...see it through to the end.
If you want to actually start a flaming forum war, you have to find a GOOD topic where it can be conscrued that FG has done something underhanded. Then EXPLOIT IT to the MAX. Don't let truth get in the way of a good flaming but a semblence of truth must be believed by the rest of the community for a propaganda war to be somewhat successful. The more you can make FG look like the "bad guy" or unfair fighters, the better the chance you will have to garner sympathy from the rest of the ST observers. If you can gather enough sympathy, you may be able to convince some other lone Wolves and smaller alliances to assist your cause.
If your comment to Connor was a exclamation of frustration by you, your insistance to make less than useful posts fairly regularly has hampered your ability to be effective in the propaganda war.

It seems NS are giving up, after just 1 week of supremacy by -FG- .
While we head to their bases, they head for inactive n00b planets to farm. LOL
i wonder why we're smashing empty bases???
The fearless leader of NS seems to have given up completly, he's just decided not to build any fleets at all. i guess because he knows i'll just eat them up when he does...

AH WELL........

DD, MJ, and buzzy(?). You have been betrayed, used as "pidgeons", and get no defense while your leaders choose easy battles for personal point gain
I mean what kind of leadership wont head to a members base that has incomings to assist in defense esp. given the short eta's via the twn's ???
* notes while DD was on irc stating those incomings the NS "top" were busy bashing noobs of other alliances and were gonna wind up taking on a multiple front war that way (including from TLS)
As for buzzy, he seems the most capable of the entire lot.
And their leaders threw in the towel long before much happened at all.

@dd - using the female symbol to insult FG is probably more insulting to a few certain individuals in ST

errr....on my 'puter screen the symbol is the masculine pictorial. The female symbol is roughly a circle with a + sign joined to it. Perhaps all gay males playing the game should feel "violated" instead.

Funny pic Connor !
As the old expression says " A picture is worth a thousand words".
You really think The NoStars wear those funny hats and wigs ?

@T2: you are right. i bet this symbol should tell us, all FG guys are g a y . but i don´t know what everybody´s sexual preferences has to do with this game.

by the way. maybe Dinskydude could not believe that his base is getting down by g a y s ?? and he could nothing do against it... or he didn´t want to do something against it, cause he liked it. so Dinskydude, if you think we are g a y and my thoughts are right here, that u like it, you should think about joining us

FG is just doing well. No because they play unfair (some say they do, but whats fair?) , not because they are all beter players then we are, and not because they bash noobs less then we do
But they are very committted to their alliance, relatively good organised and they (can or choose to) put enough time in active playing the game.
So we loose on the scoreboard and i now know what to do better.

To effectively counter attack from a base bashing in a war situation, intimate knowledge of fast trans-warp routes sometimes help. If you have a good fleet, you can afford to lose your buildings for a short while. Keeping a few retreat fighters in base forces opponent to expend a lot of mp in trying to remove your base. Same thing with Holographic ships available to e-ray and the reconstruction ships of the myc race. I like the carrier that spawns the c1 ships after the first battle. I can't remember the names of them but I know they exist. Force a 3 fleet confrontation with your base and In the meantime, you may be in a position to execute the same damage on his base if you can get to it in time. Another tactic I like to use is a systematic removal of the opponents Def array's leaving their base open for counterstrike options with low casualties on your side.
This tactic usually costs points however and the "trick" is to try to do it with the least amount of MP

i don´t beliefe that FG players are better players then NS. maybe some are really good. at least their knowledge about ST is very good.
FG is good organised. that is the fact and the main point in this war.
my last fight was against a NS player and it showed me a good tacticle enemy. i liked it. i lost some points (really only some ) but it makes the war in this game more interesting.
now i have to replan to get those little points back

Well perhaps a few FG players have a slight edge
but indeed organisation and discipline are the keys to any war.
Wars are won and lost by the actions and decisions of an alliances governing body.

and as for points.....
