If you you leave the 2 welcome alliances your open tag should automaticly change , now there are players from another alliance who still have IG or TF as open tag . Verry confusing

make it change to "TG" or "IF" when you leave either   
Actually "false tags" are often used to create the confusion as a covert suprise. * remembers that FG who eta'ed on my base 2 rounds back with a "NS" tag then, 1h before eta changed to "MH" (causing me to pm sky then bm  and * may one day want to pull the same if he can stand to do a round with one of those wierd ST assigned names...aka a name about as pronouncable as chinese-yiddish with all the vowels removed  .... so, everyone thinks that one wierd name eta'ing on them is a noob with a *** fleet that can be easily held off with hundreds of nano viruses as a visible deterrant without returning those fleets from distant locations as well as totally disregard the hyperpass warnings from the night before ) and should know
And even if they change on leaving a training alliance one can easily change it back and I doubt anyone is taking in a noob who cant figure out how to change the visible tag
RECOMENDATION: when in doubt do an alliance invasion (you will get 1/2 the members) and two or 3 more (to get the rest) or hit that one that is confusing you with an "alliance ID hit".
