NASA scientists have discovered some species of bacteria never before detected -- and they found them in areas where U.S. spacecraft are assembled.

LOL US spacecraft are assembled in Hunnington, Alabama; Cape Canaveral, Florida and sometimes close to Lompoc, California (Edwards airforce base) and I would imagine even new (undiscovered as most still are lol) bacteria exsist in all these places and others as well...not very suprising
More amazing is when these these bacteria are found in such inhospitable environments such as volcanic vents (temps far exceeding the boiling point of water and actaully, close to the melting point of lead), nuclear power plant discharges (>1000x the lethal radiation dosage for humans) and etc which really is not anything new in the world of news.

TLS is back for data accuistion to proceed with development of the add-ins. Not for long or for very much activity though.

Be more amazing to find bacteria is the salt plains in the Murray-darling basin!
