I am gonna have a really big moan now about the amount of people on IRC who are:

'AFK'

or..

'BBL'

I woke up this morning happy, It was 7:30pm. I wnet downstairs and had breakfast and watched the Simpsons. Then, I when on my beloved computer. I checked the forums and was happy to see the amount of people involved with IRC. Then, I went on IRC. for 1 hour I tryed to speak to 'IRCMIN', I said jokes, I said songs, but nothing happened. NOTHING! So, I went to play Halo. Then we went to Waitrose, I brought and ate Smoky Bacon crisps for the very first time. Then, I come back. I go on IRC. I see 5 people on it. Connor, DavAlan, Ircmin, spaceman, spacebot. Then, I say 'hi guys btw you are the best players of ST in the World.' Then, taking DavAlans advice I wait at least five miniutes untill someone replies. I have waited, slaved away, with great annoyance for 30 minutes, and no one, and I repeat no one replies or says a word. And in that time two people quit! And Connor saying BBL, then he quit, I'm sorry, but what is the sense in that! So, I propose these changes:

If you are going to go on IRC, make sure you check every five minuites.

If you are away for any reason, please say you are away, in your nick.

And if you are away for a whole 7 hours, why are you on the flipping thing on the first place!

I know I am telling off vets but I don't care, I am very annoyed.

So, now vets unleach your hatred and hate mail in the places below.

Thankyou.

Patience, some of us love to be in irc as long as their computer is on, so they know what's happening. If I am not at my computer I have marked myself away and if I'm not I could be busy doing other stuff. With an attitude of chatting within 5 minutes or I leave irc will not being very alive.

If you still dislike always "on when my computer is on"-attitude, just learn to live with it as it is common irc usage. You know what happens at the channel while you are away, could be useful information.

BTW I do talk

Was on irc until 3h ago (9 am) after falling asleep on it (5am).

DavAlan notes: while you dutch are probably wide awake at high noon it is not high noon in California

Also TLS must hit you dutch while you sleep since your most damaging attacks fall on us while we sleep

BTW-it will be worse in 2 weeks or so when we log on from Kavieng or etc (noon for you will be midnight for us).

what pleases me is that today there were about 9 people(could be lying) in irc simultaniously, afk or not. compared to the last few years it's just *awesome*. i just wish i had the time to chat and catch on with people.
