Lacking ninetendo or the desire to play / own it, I am not sure. David and I often use an Ericsson cellphone (David) or a new "I-Phone" (mine) to play st (or log onto irc). We also access the others' notebook wireless IP via bluetooth (faster than the cellular link we got here) which often causes IP conflicts.
Lacking multi window capability only one (st or irc) can be done at a time though.

The I-phone is great for sure. The eq. of my Ericson + an 80 gig I-Pod in one unit at 1/3 the size, weight, and power usage
Both have built into the menu's, IRC, MSN, AIM access (clicking on ST IRC WILL NOT WORK).
However, in Humboldt County we lack high speed cellular...about 1 year away. But, NP in Palo Alto (even the wino's and bums got cell phones and notebooks with wireless g )

Just to say.. I didn't know there was a DS Browser. Does it come free with the console like Wi-Fi or is it an extra? I'd like to get it .

Eh.. I just saw it on Google Products ..

oh well, but hey, at least it seems you can play sapcetrace, talk to people on IRC... and even play Java based games.

Does the connection cost anything?
