what do you think would be an unfair war.

like

7 vets vs 7 n00bs...i believe that is unfair.

so how about...2 vets vs 6 midlevel players??

etc

just wanna know your thoughts.

7 vets against 7 noobs or even 2 vets against 6 midlevels might be regarded as unfair.

Depending how noobish the noobs are and how much experience the midlevels have, the vets will have the day.

But if the noobs are coordinated (especially all friends living close together), their coordinated attacks may make the wars much fairer or in their favour.

Also it's not always the experience you have. It's the number of battles you face in a period and how often you are online. So long as you get some positive points for each battle you'll always stay ahead.


AND.

There is no such thing as an unfair war. If a noob alliance wants to go up against a vet. It's their funeral

If a noob with just basic ships, goes against a vet with near all possible researches, and who knows every tactic in the book, that is unfair.
If there are 100 people against 10, that is unfair.

Both unfair, yet not similar at all.

Exactly. The problem isnt really that we lose points, but more that we lose time.

I was supposed to send reinforcements to the pulsar, but my fleet got destroyed by a noob, I had to rebuild, and the pulsar got taken.

and i mean, its easy....and good fun.

but i had my base taken out....which left BM by himself.

so it became 6 on 1.

but now im back in to the fight.....

its a good war we have on atm actually.

6 against 2 isnt really fair. But if you are vets and they newbs, it could go either way.

Although I would put my money on the team of 6.

i see where your coming from...its easy for the 2 to be outnumbered.

Well I found myself in a war one day, without a warning 2 "brothers" and their leader jumped my base, later brought fourth player who wasnt even in their clan who would then participate in all attacks against our 2 man alliance.

Eventually it ended up with 4 players attacking one base and one of us protecting the other's base with fleets..

So Id just say that if 3 players, 2 of them brothers, send their timed fleets at the base and that isnt still ratpacking then getting fourth non member to participate in all attacks must mean ratpacking. I am quite pissed off about that even though our alliance mostly got points out of this war and it was interesting time while it lasted.
