Is it possible to colonize the planets in my home system?

The "Colony Star" says build a colony on a pre-warp world, so this wouldn't go. But is there another possibility?

you don't colonize the planets in your system. They already belong to you. the colony doesn't go because it needs a mothership to take it to a pre-warp. Right now colony stars do not have much of a purpose except to look good.

B5-R7X: you got it right and no - there is no possibility to colonize planets in your own system. And like Blackmagic said the colonies have no purpose so far.. but the admins are promising to add sth in the future.
Try to look at the planets in your system like a part of your "planet/base/system/whatever". They are not prewarps - they are uninhabited except by creatures - and this is their sole purpose and i guess it's gonna stay that way.

Blackmagic: The Colony Star has it's own warp.

Starting to wonder what the colony star colonization was all about. We all got off to a fast start on it but, lost interest after not finding much to be had out of it as for the creature lab and etc I actually had forgotten about that one (almost).
