Attacking Bug??

So, i sent a fleet (accidentally on defense mode) to someones base... upon getting there... nothing happened.. so i changed it to my alliance's attack code.. upon doing that.. it attacked the fleet of my opponent.. but not the base. it then said that my fleet was besieging my opponents base in 23 hrs.. meaning that i had just hit it.. which i had not...

so, i then tried flying away and back real quick, but no luck.. so what exactly happened??

Maybe you went in defense and nothing happened vs the base
And with the code or without it the other fleet attacked you because it was away from the base or maybe you didnt note it.
And after that you get something that is called battle pause...after you confront another one even if a battle dosnt exist you have to wait 24 hours to "fight" again...and yes you hitted the base in defensive mode, but there wasnt a battle.
If it is like i am saying here you have some tips

1- You have newbie help if you dont know if its a bug
2-You say you can beatt TO but you dont seem to learn basic things
3-Consult on the IRC Chat first
4-Noob helpers
5- I dont care if T2 gets angry..."RTFM"...it means read the fucking manual

i appreciate ur answer.. which makes sense.. but u dont have to be soo nasty..

and besides.. i never said i could beat TO.. i just said that i have beaten Shade ONCE-- and said that TO arent gods.. thats all

Noob strategy: hit targets in defensive and make sure your fleets are in attack mode while at base to deal with your fellow alliance members who show up to use your twn or defend you
