LMAO they should be fed up by now...IMHO let the battle for 2nd place start as 1st place was won before the "war" started (esp. when -TO- got those 10 top vets. together) NO WAY IN HELL ANY ONE is going to catch up to the -TO- score and there is absolutely no point in sending it skyrocking further

Now that has to be the best idea I have read lately and a reason to remain for this evo Reneé A. Davis respawns and restores TLS (btw-we are 1/2 way to 2nd already )

Perhaps after this we will have 10 top vets to match -TO- on BALANCED TERMS on the next round???

BTW-Reneé A. Davis thought that, 2 years ago the Gunslingers proved that a "vet spam" could, without any question, dominate ST until ???....and that is when they had a few former -TO- to bring em down (in the form of the 128th SBR). Rob? Rubens?...you must have forgot???

The only way you will beat TO will be if they commit suicide (and they willl no longer log in, leaving their bases open) or if they plain out surrender.

If you fight them head on, you will lose.

P.S: Its fun to dream, but not all dreams come true.

P.P.S: This paint thinner tastes quite good...

I happen to enjoy the battles that are taking place between -TO- and the New Generation. I don't really care what the alliance score is. For me, it has been good 1 on 1 competition. Of course I am not obsessed with making high score by pounding newbs or multi's. I do however enjoy jousting against someone with some skill and if I win great...If I lose.. I learn and try to do better next time.
All all my battles have been against TO opponents and my personal score reflects this. It has remained relatively stable neither rising or losing and to me...that tells me I am able to compete. My battles have all been fun and the war has been conducted with chivelery and grace. Very little gang-banging or insults have happened from what I have seen. My biggest lament is my inability to fight regularly with some of -TO- members that, due to the vastness of the galaxy has made it somewhat impractical to travel to the "far side" of the galaxy on a regular basis without using the pioneer ship or MTWG.
AS I am a big advocate of players fighting against opponents of similar skill levels, the war has been a wonderful chance to guage my abilities against other experienced players.
I say...keep it going and let me try my hand with all TO members.
The BNG as an alliance has lost many points to -TO- but...on the other hand, the points it has won have also been against -TO-'ers.
The thing I find most unfortunate is the lack of players in the game that are able or willing to compete with -TO-.
To those who have tried and lost I say this...keep on trying and learn. To those who have tried and won...I say congratulations.
To those who are afraid to try...hmmm...no comment. Perhaps your reasons are valid.

I am not afraid to try.

In fact, il gladly take on a TO member.

But I am quite sure I will lose. And if I make score, I will lose in the next battle.

Theres a difference between being foolish and brave.

P.S: I have a feeling Ive said this before...

It funny to read these post you all make. Now look at me, a newbi in his first evo on ST and I fight the TO and to hell say I to losing. From what I have seen so far they can be beaten.

Why are you guys so worried. Do you fight on sure wins only? Are you certain that if you fight a non-To you will not get creamed? Try coming to visit the NS after this war and we will show you

Pls guys/gals, stop being sooo negative. The TO are NOT GODS. The way they fight, I have not seen any greatness. A lot of dedication, and a very good knowledge of the ships they have (Any true vet will have knowledge), but I know of a number of non-ST players who would have these guys for breakfast and still feel hungry (after a bit of practice).

As for the TO, good fight guys, bring it on The night is still young!

Well, I'm with T2. I've been having a blast battling back and forth with Connor. Yes, I'm losing points, but I'm learning and have even won a few battles with him. We message each other in-game before and after battles and have really enjoyed it (at least I have - hope Connor has also)
I didn't really think we were going to "beat" TO when we started this..........they called themselves TO for a reason.

Connor,
Before now weve given TO a run for there money well the original members anyways did. But to be honest i aint going to bother fighting in the war as i really cannot be arsed with watching VETs fight Newbs and wiping them out as we all know that TO is VETs that were even in the game before me. This is why it will not be worth it, the only people that have ever stood a chance against TO was Privateers.

Anyways good luck fighting.

Richard.

Hi Evans. Been a while since I've seen you post. The Bold Guys are not really noobs but not really vets either. If there were 3 or 4 more of us, we would be able to keep TO fairly well occupied and could probably provide as much competition as TO would need. THe Nostars wild cards would probably tip the balance of power in the allies favor and make TO work a little harder that they have been acustomed to.
Of course this remains speclutative only.

You want to try competing?...let me know...-TO- still have some guys that are not real busy.

Remember somones sig..."It's not how long you play but just..How you play"

No they didnt. When the alliance was created, it didnt totally own yet. TLC (the legendary commanders) wasnt that good when it was created, but it held the top for a long time.

I have had the strange experience that good alliances tend to have good names.

Although there are exceptions. NoStars isnt the best name ever, but its still in number 2.

well this war has been by far the most disapointing we've experienced...
it is by any normal standards won and over.....
BOLD has never popped there heads over the 0 margin...

The Idea was thats ST's best would challenge us, and they have... and failed... even with a substancial tech advantage in most cases.
and i don't see this getting any better when the tables are turned and we're all high evo...

As has been stated here.. theres no fun in knocking down an alliance that is already heavy in minus...
And as for the fights with NS, they are quite few and far between.. very little resilience comes from them, we attack them, and instead of fighting back they go off and hit other targets.. i think they're more interested in scoring points than fighting a war... but they are a learning alliance and that is fine. Our goal was never to attack such a new bunch of guys/gals, it was simply a retaliation to a very wrong move by them..
I beleive that lesson has been learned.
I'll give them their due, NS has great potential... perhaps in another round they will give us a good run for our money

Most, if not all TO'ers are bored stiff... there's very little going on, simply no challenge as expected... a couple have already quit and i expect more will shortly...

This would normally be where i say we're leaving GGs...
But i think i'll stick out the Evo this time, and i know a few of the lads will stay too. perhaps create a new Vet or 2?

It seems in recent years people don't get promoted to Vet status unless they've served in TO...
Our last few revivals we have always been at war, and for this reason we've recruited very few new players to the team, for security reasons.

i haven't discussed this with the rest of TO yet, but perhaps our doors will open soon to some lucky new potentials
