Conversations with Shade has revealed he MIGHT return for a little while IF the competition was worth while.
It would be a TO resurection.
If anyone is interested in forming a Temporary Alliance to challenge this crew of veterans, Let it be known here.
This list may decide the future of a possible TO return.
Only those who feel they can effectively challenge the Old Vets of the game should show interest however I am hesitant to say only experienced players as some new players show very good talent potential.
Anyhow...as I said...if TO see's a list they feel could compete with them, it may intice them to return for a little while.

A simple case of too much "effective use" and "hierarchy" of a large alliance assembled more or less overnight (actaully more of an attempt to outnumber and overwhelm via lesser skilled players and secondary accounts) :|

LOL...you are right KoT... This time...the intent is not to Feed TO but, rather, feed off them.
I sincerly believe a team could be made up from the players currently in ST that could compete against TO.
Don't get me wrong, I have no illusions that any team will feast on TO. What I want to realistically see is a team that TO cannot feast upon as well.
People like Dave Renee & Iuz, Scolar , Wizzard, some of the other players in the top 10 but, believe me, getting 10 players with the skill needed would be pushing the "Other than TO players" to it's limit within the ST community.
This team would have to be the New "All Star" Team...only the best would be chosen to fight against TO or it would be a lost cause to even try.
I suspect 7 to 10 players is probably about right depending on what TO players are available.

Not sure what side but probably best we are both on the same side as we would have a problem with the temptation of spying on each other as we often observed each others pc activity.
So we will be added in last to equalize member count imbalances that arise during formation.

Hmmm...so far ...potentially 4 "All Stars vs. 2-3 -TO-'ers. If The Mare of ST decides to join the All-Star team, that will make 5.
Even if Shade does return, -TO- will have to make a better showing to make it worth our effort . I would hate to see the Dave / Renee team split up as they would be a cornerstone to the All-Stars ability to compete.
Let's see something from Rubens, Spyder, Achillies, Base, Rob and last but not least, Shade to see if this -TO- reunion is possible .
Forgive me for not including some names on both teams.
In the event -TO- are able to field a team and the war goes ahead,
some things should be discussed eg: will it be conducted like the Grand War with "gentlemans" rules or will it be knock-down, drag out, decapped fleets, flags stolen and possibility of having to respawn kind of conflict.

and true enough.. i may bring back TO if decent competition can be brought together... but are there 10 worthy opponents?

We always start our wars as a gentlemans game, but they always end up no holds barred. people tend to gangbang in revenge.. and we do it back just with style and finess
And not to be to arrogant.. but taking on only one enemy is often boring... the prospect of just about anyone burning down on your planet is much more fun^^ as is seeing how many players you can smackdown without replenishing your fleet lol.
Having simple 1vs1's removes the whole teamwork aspect...
but anyway lets see what you can do... just to remove the doubt..
