double agent deployer (class 2 ship)

this ship deploys one double agent into the enemy fleet, which will destroy 5 c1 ships, and then self destruct.


attack/life: 5/10
manpower: 11

researchtime: 1 d
buildingtime: 12 h


human-technology
needed research:
advanced tactics

battle details:creates 1 double agent in the enemy fleet in the class it belongs and the created ship will stay in that fleet after battle.
battlemessage: "the double agent deployer deployed ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: create,enemy,1,stay,double agent,the double agent deployer deployed)
fights
(battle engine syntax: f)

I think what he is trying to say is that the deployer self destruct but the double agent which is another 'ship' will stay in enemy fleet like a virus.

The only way to get rid of it is to recycle or have another battle where it is destroyed.

We need to know how the double agent syntax works.

The thing is will the double agent only deal an affect in the next battle since it is class 1/2 (?).

So it really works like a super virus (~plague ship virus) from a mini ship and only against class ones.

I see some usage but need to know how double agent works.

Still think plague is better

I think this should do, got it from Spacebot...

double agent (mp=1 ap/lp=0/10 class=2) this ship is placed in the enemy fleet by a double agent deployer to take out lonely c1.

Ahh so double agent ('virus') self-destructs. DavAlan was right with his question then.

If I read double agent syntax properly....

..am I right in saying that for an effect in current sub-battle u need a line in deployer that re-shuffles all ships that have not fired otherwise double agent may not have any effect?

If not it will act like a mini-plague ship with super class 1 attacking cl2 virus.

All in all I think it has a balance effect but for me will not improve on using a plague ship.

So much more destructive
