amalgon fighter (class 1 ship)

this ship combines with two of its own type ships to form the talear a 10/6 class 2 ship which if it is destroyed it will cause 3 damage to 3 own class 2 ships and 6 damage to 1 enemy ship and if it survives the whole battle it will change back into the original 3 amalgon fighters


attack/life: 1/2
manpower: 2

researchtime: 1 d
buildingtime: 12 h


nanite-technology
needed research:
advanced tactics

battle details:fights
(battle engine syntax: f)
creates 1 talear in your own fleet in class 2
(battle engine syntax: create,self,1,2,talear)
modifies LP by -5000 of itself in your own fleet in the same class, there are no known ships and buildings that survive this effect.
(battle engine syntax: obliterate,self,2,this,itself)
self destructs!
(battle engine syntax: sd)

ummm... kinda confusing.. really pointless.. unless you make a time line of what the heck is going on....

In it's simplest form it goes like this:

Three a. fighters (cl1) combine to make a class 2 ship which at the end of the battle reform into original class 1 ships:

1. Amalgon fights
2. 3 Amalgons join and reform into 1 Talear (10/6) in class 2
3. If Talear survives in turns back into original 3 class one ships


Just from this there are tactical advantages!

Dunno... it looks like some kinda troika, oh and btw, your code is not fail proof as u can just put one in your fleet, which will make three afterwards, that is, if it survives. I thnk its a ship with two purposes, fighting in c1, and afterwards, in c2... that might come in quite handy as it saves me some manpower.

Mmm get the point about having only 1. bang head Could change syntax to destroy 2 other cls ones or add a select clause.. But which ever way it's better to have multiples of this ship other wise it's not worth it.

But you got the first usage of this ship : It lets you fight twice once in cl1 and once in cl2.

The second purpose is related to DSP info. Can u guess what it is yet

(It's a reverse troika btw)
