mobile resuply base (class 4 ship)
this base is a special portable shipyard. it can be build by any alliance with more then 2 members, and the alliance score will be reduced by 400 for each member in the alliance. just like the mtwg.
at least this is, when the alliance has less then 7 members. also, for each member in the alliance, more manpower can be suplied, to be exact: 350 for each member (unless there are more then 7 members in your alliance ) so the maximum is 2750 mp.
this station is controlled by the leader of the alliance, and can be moved every 12 hours. it has an own warpreactor that moves at warp 4. it canĀ“t travel trough the twn, or any wormholes.
this ship can build any ship, as long as the ships are in your own fleet. it can only resuply your fleet, and will not build when you have reached your maximum amount of manpower. if anything is not correct, or anything needs to be changed, just post it. there was also no syntax available.
attack/life: 0/2000
manpower: 1200
speed: warp 4
(can only establish a warpfield for itself)
researchtime: 2 d 16 h
buildingtime: 12 h

Kinda iffy... lets see.. kinda complicated, needs a lot of work..
now.. does it build the ship instantly? if it does then a definite no... also can you build only ships in your fleet? if it does then nadda... im not thinking this is going to work...
BUT,
it is an interesting idea... this might need a couple of changes IF it were to pass and be made into ST..
1. like first i could get some sweet ships at a prewarp planet and bring it to one of these things and make more, Example: Fairchild
2. It wouldnt be fair to be able to get ships that you dont have in your fleet..
3. niffty idea, could set it like 5 hours away from BH, and yet you would lose lots of points..

It's a resupply ship, not a whole new SY, it just refills your current ships, and is able to build all basic ships. No it does take the normal time to buold ships, and is more usefull in bigger alliances.
Also, this is not a normal ship or fleet, but just like the MTWG, it is replacable, and you can get your ships on it, but is not build in a fleet. _________________

Does this mean that the portable shipyard can build ONLY ships you have researched OR it can only build ships that you have remaining in your possession.
eg: I just lost all my fighters and have none left in any fleet...can I replace them....which fleet do they spawn into?
What about Motherships ?...you have to be at base to activate a new fleet so...i guess that part would be out as well....
These are the things I want to mull over.
It is a fresh concept however...good or bad ...I don't yet know. |

Motherships would be unfair, just the basic attack ships i.e. Fighter, destroyer, cruiser, and the ships IN your current fleet, this is because there is no other technology on board. _________________

would the ships be taken from a comunal alliance MP stash, or would you be able to use only your own? i was thinking that instead of a communal alliance gross of points in witch case an alliance member can horde the whole capacity and keep the others from using it, that you invest into it, say one member uses it constantly and another does not at all, the member who wants more Mp available can transfer more of his own into it, that only he can use, and the non active member does not need to put any into it, this way you do not need to limit the amount of mp there because everyone is using their own Mp, just at an off site... also there should be some kind of mp time balancing system, like your ships take half the normal time to build, but cost twice the mp. _________________ I am The Animal, in mind and spirit and i rise again

somethings are not clear to me
1) the mp raise is it gone when this ship is shot ?
2) the 12h will it stay at the same coords for these 12h ?
3) what is the maximum on MP that it can handle when building ( 7X 5000MP )
4) you need to get your fleet at the same coords to be refilled
5) does it only can build ships in the fleet that are at the same coords or in all your fleets
And then my opinion
1) to low on MP
2) why is there always the MP raising thing
3) when it is stuck for 12h at 1 place it needs a defence system ( 1 fighter would kill it )
4) alliance score should go down same amount as MP ( like the MTWG )
5) when would you use it , hovvering arround score planet is risky 12h span between moving to other coords would be a killer for this ship
To much ? ? ? for me , so I don't give a vote yet , sounds nice but don't know when I should use it . have to think about it no + no - for now , but it is leaning towards - _________________ Greetz Connor
