I risked a fleet tender trying for 860 extra points and:

I believe the sporator got its turn last , so the ships that have been active before aren't affected by the sporator . I have had this when I sended in 20 evaps with 3 sporators that only 15 evaps where triggerd , so that would be the only explanation that I could think of .

Thats false Connor.
It is a bug of course, the sporator didnt even take its turn.
I mean, it dosnt say when it sd or it modifies the other ships.
Even if the evaporator took its turn if it modified it acts.

Bug!, points or at least an answer for Renee

I got told by someone that the commando fighter doesn't modify evap, just gives it more ap. I don't know why and I didn't get the chanse to try it out with commandos, guess I don't need to anymore:p

Somehow I think you are right Al...I somehow think there was a reason I did not use commando fighters with my evaps rather than sporators. It had to do with the "Modify" command in the evap syntax i think and it can't be confused with another term that means similar outcome. Also i have a couple bottles of wine in me so I will not make any claims atm. Also.... I'm being too lazy to re-research it again.
If I were to use any other ship to try to modify my evaps (mine or opponent) I would certainly go over it with a fine tooth comb.
Evaps are strange, scary little ships that has cost me more than I have made with them so far but I seem to be lucky when I use sporators....unlike Renee.

no no no.. the commando fighter modifys all ships by 2.... Modifies


commando-fighter (class 1 ship)


if commando-fighter takes its turn, all following fighters get double firepower. but it will destroy all commando-fighters in your fleet, so only one commando-fighter will be active, all others just increase the chance for them to get their turn at all. (caution! self destruction!)

attack/life: 1/1
manpower: 10

researchtime: 3 h
buildingtime: 12 h

battle details:multiplies AP/LP by 2/1 of all ships of any ship-type in your own fleet in class 1

I think the modify means that if there are any other commando fighters in youre fleet they get modfyd and selfdestruct.
