You'd rather make this topic in Dutch, as all non-dutch speaking people will now ask: wtf is sinterklaas. Well, to stop that from starting, Sinterklaas is just like Santa. Anyway, back on the topic... Wool and sirop always work well...

How about putting it in a box, which is in a box, which is in a box, etc.

ROFL...I think you should hit his 12 reindeer ships and sleigh with a fleet of penguins !
Does sinterklaas use reindeer and sleigh or is that just a NorthAmerican custom?

Sinterklaas is from woden. Woden rode his horse sleipnir. and there is a story where sinterklaas defeats the devil, and the devil becomes his servant, hence the black folk. they are demons. there is also a story where they are black slaves. And there is another story, about how he gave a very poor family money every year, by throwing it through the window. now we use pepernoten (peppernuts, which suprisingly, do not taste like pepper, or like nuts), they are kindof like cookies, but more compressed. too bad, i wouldve liked it if he through money.

I bought a tasty chocholate letter, and some tattoes. fake ones. they where on his list.

I thought he came from Turkey, being a Saint made holy in (Yes T2) the Vatican.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I do enjoy learning the differences in culture and customs of other civilisations.

He does come from turkey. But he didnt ride a horse and have black slaves. The black people, and the horse, and a few other things such as the black guy listening at the chimney didnt happen, but are from german legends such as that of woden.
