Try to keep your recruitment topic contained to 1 thread instead of numerous different threads. Some get very annoyed with this practice of multiple topics about the same thing.
Also...look at other players that have single member alliances and contact them to see if they would be interested in forming or amalgamating into Black Fire. It will take skillful negotiations to strike a compromise between potential members. A sure way to encourage membership it to rotate positions so everyone gets a try at all the posts.
You may even have to compromise on the name of the alliance but wtf, a 3 or 4 man alliance is more fun than a sole membership.
