to use the java-chat applet you need to have a java-plugin installed. you can get it here:

I was finally able to log into the ST IRC. Afterwards, I was browsing around and clicked on the "Trailer Park" in the stats page and a IRC window popped up. Cool... Pardon me but I thought this was a really neat idea and it don't take much to amaze a IRC noob like me. I then went back and clicked on the NZ name and ended up in a IRC room called the Neutral Zone. Really neat...I was hoping I would see Marlito, Dave or Renee there .
Anyhow...it seems to work now...I couldn't get on a couple days ago
Nice job ! |

As a matter of fact, I did have a visit with Spacebot. All he could tell me atm was not to build more than 3 motherships but it's a start |

We included the irc-chat right inside the game now
you can change the setting in your preferences, so you have the chat right at the start when you login.
just enter for the left frame: "irc/irc.php" |

Compliments to Admin and Spacetrace for the spacebot, some really good work there!
It seems much more people are using IRC, Much more than Dark IRC. _________________

i don`t think the other surver is so bad, we had just some problems, cause we all logged in via the applett and our bot was kicked after some other problems, so we decided to build our own server.
sure, there is only one channel (#spacetrace) on it, but that`s the point: we can configure it so that it fits best to the needs of spacetrace now
and even spacebot can have a lot more features thatn before, since it runs on the same server and has access to the spacetrace database |

the max value is a statistic value, not a restriction ! |
