Well, my favourite is a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, also a Mistibishi Evo Lancer VIII is quite cool.

A Dodge Evaportor or Mitsubishi Bounty Hunter, but anything the will clear Dreadnaughts off the Interstate is fine
DavAlan has a slighly used but immaculate 2004 Ford Bulk Fighter for sale, any bidders? _________________ "Destruction leads to a very rough road

Dodge is re-issueing the Challenger again. It looks considerably like the original model and talk of even a Hemi available.
I owned a 1970 'Cuda with a 440/ 4 speed and a '73 Cuda with a 340 engine in it.
They would both fairly dangle along however the small block was much nicer handling.
"There is no subsitute for cubic inches" remains true today if you want torque.
ATM, I do not know what my favorite auto is. Having a real fast car is cool but in Canada, it's like having a large boat with just a small pond to sail it in.
Our speed limits are mostly capped at 100 kph on the 4 lane roads. Alberta is capped at 110 kph on the big highways.
Law enforcment will overlook exceeding by about 15 kph only.
Having a fast car guarantee's that soon your licence will be revoked
In a country this size, a special high speed road would be desirable . It takes 30 hours of driving at 100kph just to clear Ontario's provincial borders.
With that said, another consideration is the wildlife that roam the highways at night.
The whitetail deer and moose that are out makes high speed night driving very risky.
Many people are killed each year from collisions with these large animals.
Especially the moose. |

The Lamborghini Gallardo SE is my favorite car right now
Here's just a few of the specs:
0 - 100 km/h in 3.95 seconds
Top Speed 315 km/h
Steering: Power-assisted rack and pinion
Engine: 10 cylinders V 90(degrees), DOHC 4 valves, 18(degrees) crankpin offset
Displacment: 4961 cc
Compression Rato: 11:1
Maximum torque: 510 Nm at 4500 rpm
etc...
The SE (Special Edition) is equiped with:
permanent 4WD, 6 speed gearbox, aluminum space frame, ESP and ASR, ABS,ABD, air conditioning, as well as 2 front and 2 side airbags.
etc...
I freaking want one!!! Never will though |

I have always wanted a car/vehicle that I could drive from a bush road into a plowed field at 100kph and not spill my rum & coke while it is sitting on the dashboard.
They have not invented it yet but I'll keep on hoping. It would have to have traction control and AWD, oversize tires for the swampy ground and IR capability to run with no lights and spot the wildlife. Built in cooler, lots of snot under the hood and a really good stereo for the drive back home.
Being amphibious would be a nice option as well.
Sure would beat hauling a boat if you wanted to do some fishing. |
