Well normally the admins tell in "new technologies" if they put something on a planet.
By the way I was talking about technologies on a planet and not about ships, so maybe you misunderstood me...

You guys gave out the secret ive been getting ships off them for a while now and so far i have gotten intruder shield generators....... mosqitos, ect its good because they give you ships you do not have the ability to make and plus its an istant build....... there are only a few on each planet so far i guess its totally random

Well as soon as I get my first fleet I'll go exploring every little bit of this galaxy. (mabey I'll find that palce where Blaze is getting all those ships too)

You guys made me curious:
Were it pre-warp or abandoned planets? Coz it was suggested some time ago for abandoned ones...
I'm not sure if I like the feature coz there are too many of those planets you can't guess what may be in a fleet at all...

I am still having trouble with this pre-warp thing. If there are ships, how do you get them? Production page, or can you move them into your fleet from the fleets page?

You only get news tecnologies is the planet have it.
The forum News ships and updates will say where you can find it.

if u have unused Manpower Points or ships you can delite to get open Mp then you can take what ships that are at a perwarpworld as long as your fleet has a Ms to fly them away

The fleet u would have at the perwarp-world you move the ships from the perwarp-world in to the your fleet from off the perwarp-world planet. And in the case of tech on a planet you have to have no research and waiting to do some to take the research off a tech planet.

I did see a different research pop up in my possibility screen at the last pre-warp I was visiting. I would have to assume that there have been no ships at the planets I have visited. Never seen another ship other than my own so far in this game...LOL. I am sure I will stumble across on eventually

Ok lets get this straight.

1/A couple of rounds ago, admin placed a very tiny amount of ships on lots of pre warp worlds. Not sure of the reason.
I do not know whether there are any this round or not. I encountered none last round but, there was never enough ships for it to be worthwhile looking anyway.

2/ In every round so far, admin has placed a new tech on a pre warp world that can be researched by all who visit the planet. This has not happened yet. When it happens it will be notified in forum in the game updates section.
Not for some time at least I think. If you are searching for new tech at present you are wasting your time.!!!!

3/ In spacetrace universe terms a pre warp world is just a planet thats inhabitants have yet to discover warp capabilities. (Think star trek etc etc.)

In game terms, a pre warp world is simply a planet that does not have a player. An abandoned planet, is a planet who has not logged in for 8 days.
