all messages put into spam section not count to totalposts

Ok so this guy yeh sent me a link to a forum so im looking around and i find a section on spam and i thought a whole section on spam thats a bit much but then i read closer and it said "note all messages put into this section will not count to the total posts" and then suddenly it sounded like a wonderful idea i wondered if we could do the same here simply make a section for spam and take the post count off in that section

The only way that that would work is if this forum had a completely different style.

For example, a forum I regulary visit is www.livingwithstyle.com

Notice the layout?

The forum here basically uses a "all the most recent posts" format.


So people would just continue to Spam in the Off Topic sections or even in Discussion and Recruitment if they wanted to. (its not like their post would be deleted if they did.)

It's a good idea overall lowvoice, but it just wouldn't work.

don`t understand, why the livingwithstyle-forum would make a change.

anyway: i think the idea would be counterproductive, cause players that want to raise their total posts would be forced to spam other topics then - thats all

i think there is no solution against spammers that want to raise the count. the only solution would be an extensive forum administration where all spam posts are deleted, but thats too much work for us
