IRC was always dead...
i used to make a mess in the game just to get 10 people showing up on the damn thing.
I was always a big fan of IRC and i used to have a rule in my old alliances that everybody i recruit should be on irc at least an hour a day!!!
the most active i ever saw that place was back in the days with LXG... we had at least 5 people with [LXG] or [LXG-T] Tags there at all time...

I think that if you have done 3 evo's youre a vet. But theres the vet vets which are really old, like a year.
