Now there is alot of great leaders playing in this game and i just like to give you guys a couple of advises i learnd over the time playing this game! most of them have to do with trying to bring down thechances of getting infiltrated by undercover agents (the aspect of the game that i first used and i have got famouse for over the years)

1. Never Advertise in fourms that you are hiring for your alliance if your alliance is already in top 5 (it brings down your position, as a top 5 you should be having a line up of people ready to join you) ( Armades )

2. Never accapt members into your alliance when your flag is stolen or when you are holding other alliance's flag

For obvius resons, if you do accapt somebody into your alliance when you have lost your flag, you will lose the power of kicking that new member out incase you find out he is really not your friend ( Armades )

And when you have an alliances flag they will do there best to bring there own spys into your alliance and you don't want that to happen, on top of that why share the 20% you might get with brand new members ( T2 )

3. Never just accapt the random dudes that sends you an email in the game telling you he is dyin to join your alliance.. it might be fishy!!! i would prefer serching for members by my self or finding them on irc or on fourms and pm'min them (again pm not public recruit fourm) that way you know you choosed them so they can't be spys.. i mean comeone if members come by soo easily, there is gotta be something fishy happening ( armades )

4. For god sake.... Do Some backround checks and when you get big enough fourm a 2nd wing where you can train your members in.....

Now you guys might ask why these advises all of the sudden.. it's becuse Armedes being the great player and leader that he is was unaware of these lil pointers and after seeing his recruit topic i made an account (as you all know my old one evaloud out like 2 weeks ago) and i joined his alliance as a noob. by doing soo i have severly brought down his position in the alliance and severly damaged the alliance's sucsesfull planning and strategy to grab there flag from my alliance PFIU (which is being lead by T2)

Now Armades finally found out about the spy problem in his alliance but he can't do much about it... so he asked me nicly to leave his alliance

now i have no plans on doing so becuse of the edge i get while staying in TLC as long as we have there flag... and considering he does not have the flag he can not ban me from his alliance, he's stuck with might for another week... so for future refrence, lets hope you guys don't let this happen to you

Also Armades i'll keep your alliance info between yours and mine... i'll try not to give it out to 3rd party alliances unless they offer really valuable info in exchance bro...

LOL not much news for me

And in case in idiot like Tough Guy will reply with ignorant and annoying posts, I can explain it.

All alliances I've lead:

- EoC
Just me and Rider, no spies, no failures, no flags lost.

- MH for a while when Blackmagic was away and Lance just respawned.
It was me, Astro and Wiley. I waited for Lance to come back, there were no spies or flags lost.

- The Flying Dutchman
No flags lost, no spies. Again recruitment went through email, msn or pm's in spacetrace forum. It was succesful, much people joined. Only downside was some allready left soon because of being busy or not liking the agressive attitude TFD had.

mighty is basically not trustworthy

he is nothing more than a spy

a cowardly spy

experience is nothing...spying is spying...

mighty is not as good as he claims...

he had to enter TLC as a n00b to allow his alliance to gain the upper hand...

but what use is it...

as soon as a friend of link and hannibal returns...

he is not as inactive as people think he is...

Well they are allowed methodes, and you must admit it gave his alliance an advantage, so in this case it was a smart move.

But it is just smart, not good or courageous or honorable.

Vircitus...this is a case of you...the Pot is calling the kettle ( Mighty ) Black.
Your spy from has also been evicted...well actually he caved in. Couldn't handle the pressure I guess. I suspect he also feels bad as we treated him very good in the PIFU.
So...remember...people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
You are forgiven if you were not aware this happened

As you can see even my own friend and colligue (T2) has failed to listen to my advise and let in a spy into our alliance ......... how ever mistakes happen.... at least he's out... more than i can say for TLC's guys....

and vrictus you admit it your self that this is just a game and the way i play is just a strategy... a smart one as that... (ingame msgs... ) so please don't try to bring down the value of my work by trying to spread propeganda bro ........

Virictus...if I may add...not everybody is cut out for spying.

It's a very tough position to fill and not everyone can do it SUCCESSFULLY. Most slip up after a few days.

I'm not sure what it takes in a person to be a good spy but being a sales type personality helps I would guess.

Actually, Evans would probably make a good spy..

I think to sum it all up for historical reasons, Mighty joined TLC about the same time we snitched thier flag.

The real info that was passed that gave the ball away on our side was the fact TLC knew our new respawn within a day of it happening and with Mighty in thier alliance, I knew that TLC knew within the next day.
These two crucial bits of info was the unseating of PFIU and TLC's spy game from my perspective.
Just how Armedes determined Mighty was a spy would be interesting to hear.

Actually my last message to Mighty was that he was under suspect but I thought he would last a couple more days. There was 1 small bit of conflicting data that I got that made my antenna go up.
24 hrs later I'm writing about it in the forum

I must appologise to my alliance members for not sharing the prime source for my info however, it was easier this way.

Yaznak...why don't you tell us your experience first hand ? I'm sure now the whole community would love to hear how you felt infiltrating our alliance. I'm sure it was exciting.

1 tip though...when leaving...don't say your going back to school. My last 2 or 3 spies each wanted to use that excuse to get out of thier post.

Not too sure why that is a favorite excuse?

Perhaps you could provide some insights as well?
It sure was fun...can anyone admit that it was not?

look who's talking you had to put a spy into our ranks to find out where your flag was being kept you talk about being the number one alliance but how did you get there by hitting a bunch of players that don't know hot to play this game well yet? and your calling us cowards?and as i recall at the time you started attacking us we had a nap you guys attacked and kept saying it was a mistake please don't attack us back so while you kept getting points off us your allys we didn't attack you back.when you thought we were easy pickings you kept attacking us. all the while asking us not to attack you. backstabbing cowards that you are now you attack my base with your whole alliance fleets.guess you can't beat on any players that know how to play this game.

@ T2

i didnt know we had a spy lol.

mind you, i dislike the whole idea of spying

so sorry if i offended you, i wasnt aware of our spy

@ Lodefferact

who the fuck are you to explain the game rules to me

iv dealt with spies before

so i suggest you be a big, clever boy, and shut up.

or is that to hard?

you see, i like T2 and Metody, as they have manners

i like mighty because he is smart

but i hate fucked up n00bs challenging me...

when i started, i had respect for the older players...

but then, you might be new, so take some advice...

let T2 talk for you...as he actually understands the phrase 'manners'

regards

Spying is a very hard thing to do ive been both spied upon and spied (hopelessly i told them what i was doing as soon as i got it )

Achilles was a very good spy... for a while i really resented him but then i came to realise that he is a very good player...

I even keep an eye on his fleets when as it was disappear on the last acount i have known him to be in ... it didnt matter much no one attacked him anyway....
