i got this idea from SirTaz:
there could be some planets with some standart fleets, where you can test your fleets but dont loose points.
this would be nice for newbies that want to build their first fleets

I had suggested something similar for the guest account, so guests could see how the game worked, at present, they have no idea of battle till they start playing.

Yeah but they maybe also won't fight other players because they can fight planets without risks... |

Except for when they don't want to have many points but just want to fight.
My personal opinion is that you should test tactics in real fight... |

The idea is to let the newer players try there fleet/fleets, tactics out on these type of planets and after they did they would, get a better idea of what there fleet/fleets and ships will do and Like most people who play any on line game there going to want to try there luck, on a real players of the game.for yes the game is about get points, but also about building friendships and trust with your alliance mates and your neighbor, i'm sure that the admin can set it up that the players who do test there fleet/fleets out, only get to do it so many times. and like any thing in life theres always going to be a rish , for you never known if the planet they pick to tain on might have a other player at it too LoL and if there fleet/fleets codes don't match they have a real fight so don't forget to use then dsp's.And beside for the aged players won't you want the other guy/gal to give your fleet/fleets a good battle |

im not even knew and i lost points big on an attack with these grazers (thought they would be like eagles) but guess not this planet thing would be a very tactalcle thing and i would enjoy having it it might save me from losing soime big points |

one solution could be:
u have a kinda "test-center", a screen on which u can pick ships out of all available tecs and let em battle against each other; no flying around, means instant fleet testing (a simulator) |

why don't you create a "Simulator Zone"?. It could be available to guest and players too. It could be and option bottom, like "Com", "Fleet" and so on. So you don't have to make many changes at your program-game-code. In that way guest and players can check new fleet researched.

Thanks. I think my subject matter "Testing of newly introduced Ship" is more appropiate then "dump planets for testing"
I like the simulator idea. I am inexperience in battle and just fought 3 rounds with minus points. I guess without simulator I had to pay for learning. |

you are right, the topic name was a bit strange, i corrected it.
@gochi: if the simulator would be available all the time for everybody it would change the whole gameplay.
the simulators will be positioned on only 4 planets where you can fly to have a simulator session. |

But on traveling to another planet (testing planet), one player wouldn't losse fleet so as to test it, do they?. is It the coin to pay in order to test one's power fleet. Not to can use in that "travel and testing time"?.
