Anyway, I never called on swanks to be banned, for *** sake I invented the apollo,(and the evaporator) I simply object to dudes gaining point status when all they are doing is building an easy peasey fleet.

I dont want em banned I want em attacked, sheesh is that so hard to understand.

Meanwhile here is a surveilance shot of a Swanker in training, he is trying to decide how many apollos he should have in his fleet. Could this be Evans? Or is it Vrictus? You decide.




you are acting a fool...I never used swanks...iv been in plots where i have needed one

but i have never used a swank to bash n00bs.

Well, in my opinion it looks nice on paper, but I suspect the Humans to become the new Mycelloids if you get what I mean.

They get the Swank-ships for Class 2 and 3, and then they also have Their Dreadnought which can easily become their Class 1 Swanker with it's many effects(although at a higher price ofcourse)

So although it's a good suggestion, it will still not fully stop the Swanking, only lessen its effect by a certain amount.

if i am wrong about the ships power and that it should be 24 mp then i can only say

Nah, the dreadnought is no match for simple cruisers, not to mention gunships It's too expensive for a class1 fighter (it's no way near to the cyclops' effectiveness)...

Idea is, that no race should be able to incorporate all class swankers. If you give the gunship directly to human, Nanites will get the 3 class. Moving it to nanite makes no difference to mycelloids... So e-ray would be best bet. That way, also, e-rays, and, kazuula too don't loose access to it, so the only ones who loose power are the mycelloids.

I have no problem with swanks, and I dont think any ships need to be switched to another race.

Swanks are fine fleets, and the races are well balanced. If the Mycilloids could produce evaps, then there would be a bit of a problem, but since they cant, they have a weakness.

I LOVE when I see a Mycilloid fleet. Most people that use Mycilloid are lazy, and theyre noob bashers. (Of course not all, but if I was a lazy noob basher, I would use Mycilloid, its so easy.) Swanks have a couple of SEVERE weaknesses that balance out their power.

Again, the trick is DIVERSITY in your fleets. If there is any one ship or fleet setup that you cannot handle, you need to rethink your tactics, and act accordingly.

why complain about swanks there are thousands of ways to destroy them just ask some experienced player and he will help you out almost every race can take them out

Evaps surely are really great. But immediately doubling the expenses is quite harsh. They aren't easy to use, as is visible from the evap topic and Achilles his posts in that topic.

Raising it to 18 mp wouldn't be too bad I guess, cause they are quite powerfull, but not that overpowered.

ach, you tools, every ship has a discussion page where you can argue the merits, balance thereof.

This Forum is for discussing the hunting of Swanks. As in, name em, shoot em, or defend em.

Evans has been dealt with for now. Now somebody tell me of other swankers.

Why don't we leave it the way it is, it works out great the way eveything is right now. All swank fleets have a weakness that can easily be used to destory them. Actually, eveyfleet setup that can be built has a weakness, teh challenge is to find it and use it against the other person. This is a war strategy game. Everyplayer has to change his fleet setup when they play, so they can counter someone elses fleet, Their is no all time powerfull fleet setup.

i'd like to say, swank fleets will prob never be takin out of the game for a while with the little argument ur making, i just say we should educate noobs on how to protect themselves from swanks better

also, swanks on noob bases is just plain harsh
