All I suggested is a change to the protection time, so please read carfully before answering. A change can also be something like "new players can attack everyone, but cant be attacked (except by players in protection time)". The only thing I'm not sure about is how you can prevent that advanced players will use it to bash other players without the possibility to retaliate. |

Most of the people that play this game just attack Noobs. I havent even attacked a base yet, I have defended one but never attacked.

Well, there IS some way to somewhat balance the game, or, at least, the swank abilities of players.
Nowadays, situation is this:
Mycelloid - access to ALL 3 - cyclops, apollo, plasma
E-ray - access only to plasma
Human - only apollo
Nanite - apollo/cyclops
Kazuula - plasma, cyclops
If the gunship goes to e-ray, the situation will be far more suttle.
Mycelloid - cyclops/apollo
E-ray - still only plasma, but native ship
Human - apollo/plasma
Nanite - apollo/cyclops
Kazuula - plasma/cyclops.
That way (if I'm not mistaking ), only E-ray has ONE swanker, all remaining races get two of them, no race has all of them _________________ _____________________________________________

if you want to help out noobs think of a better idea than extended protection time (this time with they can attack and nobody can attack them... thats even stupider than you ladt comment)
we had alot of good ideas in the past and admin never used them due to lack of time to input em into the game.
we had the idea to a trainng ground for noobs! where all players first join... coors around 100/100/10 to 200/200/20 and play the game in a faster speed and learn a bit and do a couple of fights and as soon as they wish or as soon as there score is above 10000 they would than be transferd to the real game. having there score and reserch and everything restored to 0
now tweets you wanna help noobs, come out with somethin like that not a freakin idea god knows you pulled of who's pants! |

Well clever you! So I am a fool ehh. Just put your player name in forum and we'll put that to the test ingame.
Anyway, I never called on swanks to be banned, for fucks sake I invented the apollo,(and the evaporator) I simply object to dudes gaining point status when all they are doing is building an easy peasey fleet.
I dont want em banned I want em attacked, sheesh is that so hard to understand.
Meanwhile here is a surveilance shot of a Swanker in training, he is trying to decide how many apollos he should have in his fleet. Could this be Evans? Or is it Vrictus? You decide.

Dude, you guys are -really- running behind the facts.
I have been killing c3 fleets, especially swanks, for ages! I -specialise- in killing those, as I know several others do. It's really easy, I have never lost points against a standard swank fleet, and those I did lose against weren't easy fleets.
Oh, you guys also forget the ultimate swanker ship (I must admit I use it too sometimes) the spectre. _________________ Join the army, meet interesting people, kill them.

I respectfully disagree, Weylyn.
A swank fleet is a very easy to use setup, no instructions necessary. It counters all three classes, and is self protecting. The more ships you attack it with, the better it does. (Of course, thats not entirely true, but it is the easiest to handle fleet setup in ST.)
A Spectre is a very fragile ship, and difficult to use. You need a safeguard, or a pre-spectre clearing fleet, to get rid of some of the destroyers, dreads, and apollos, if you want to bring your spectre out alive. Or else some bots or gens, which doesnt really help against class two anyways.
You cant lump the Spectre in with those swank ships. |
