Well, I'm back people. It's been a while, and I see several features of which I have no idea what they do, but I'll manage.

A small reconassaince probe drifted in orbit over what was once the waterworld of Valcorra, home of the Valkayr. Now it is but a dead rock, destroyed long ago by the dominion. The Valkayr themselves, after fighting several more battles against the dominion, had not been seen or heard from in years.
The probe had been standing by for a long time, forgotten by its owners, when something happened that brought it back to life.
A formation of fighters jumped in tight formation. The probe scanned the vessels, they were long and graceful. Power signatures suggested that they were equipped with antimatter drives, meaning that these were short-range fighters.
It registered powerful energy signatures coming from two of the ships. They stopped after several seconds.
Then the probe intercepted communications from the ships.
--Carrier command, this is Phoenix 2.0. Scan complete, the nav is clear. I repeat, the nav is clear.--
--Roger that carrier command, Phoenix 2.0 out.--
A few minutes passed without any new activity, the fighters just hovered in place. Then a huge ship warped in, surrounded by an armada of smaller ships. Six battleships, several cruiser-sized vessels appeared to be docked with the large ship.
The probe scanned the largest ships, but couldn’t collect any data on it other than it’s shape. The powerful shields and multi-layered armour made any scan impossible.
Then it intercepted one more fragment of communication.
----All ships, this is Invincible Command, execute landing protocol delta-3.----

So WoC returns , dont know what Shade and Turiana are doing, but if an alliance like WoC returns, there is going to be hell of a lot people switching to that.
I dont think there will really be more then 8 top alliances.
