I am wondering have anybody notice the change in the fleet menu. I hate the new design since the extended version is complicated to manage since you have to read the entire description.

Of course comparing to the old method, you have to move your ship back and forth, but at least you are able to see the update fleet instantly. Now, you have to mentally calculated in your mind, and setup.

I hope many people will agree with me that the old fleet menu is nicer.

It doesnt matter which one everybody likes better. You can still use the old method if you want.

I like the new method. If you are setting up your fleets for a specific function, the new way makes it very simple, and saves a lot of time. Sometimes every second counts.

I like the old method as well. "ALL SHIPS" is very convenient, and I am glad they left it for us. The old way is easier to visualize your fleet.

I think they both work just fine.

any suggestions how to optimize the 3 menues?

the simple one should be loaded very fast and is the default screen.

the standard will be used most of the time, i guess, so it is linked to by the simple one with the "move ships"-Link

the extended one is needed sometimes for special attack strategies (and it opens the programming of a flash-fleet-navigation for the programmers )

if you have any ideas how to improve them, tell us.

first suggestion:
a colored dot next to every fleet, that groups the fleets, that are on the same coords/course (fleets at the same coords/course have the same colored dot)

second
sum the number of ships in one fleet up and show the sum in the simple menu

third
icons for the other menus would be better than just words for "standard control", "simple" and "extended fleet control"
