I was wondering, in the manual it states that a cruiser can successfully defend against one torpedo, but to me that means a second torpedo would destroy it. Is this correct? My only experience was battle reports that stated 10 torpedo interceptions detected, or somesuch.
To my mind 10 cruisers vs 10 warcruisers should result in a 5-5 draw or thereabouts, but I dont think that is what happens.
What should happen?? |

You can use diable ships! Than the Torpedo-defense sytem of the cruiser doesn't work!!!
That's a nice tactic. But make sure that the diable ships do fight, otherwise they're useless! |

@Sith: If you see you wrote something wrong, you can click on "edit" (on the right top of your post) and correct the mistake.
And, yeah the tactic is good, as long as the enemy does not have twice as many cruisers as you have warcruisers. |

The disable ship was costly but a good ships I liked one for the base fleet my self and for what you pointed them out for when the enemys fleet has lots of cruisers this ship cuts down the lost but they did cost a bit for a class 2 ship but inreturn,if they got there time to fight they can do alot as well against the right fleet

I wanted to use a disable ship against lord Phil at the hole, but he got beat up before I could build it.
His fleet consisted of mainly missile launchers and shield generators about 100 of each I think, I had planned a one fighter two disable ships and some warcruisers to see how it went. The idea was to get the disable ship to fire hopefully before he got any missiles off.
I know many players have said the disable ship was the worst, but I cant say for sure as I never did get to try it out. I think there are other ships that could be got rid of before it though.
So I think keep it and maybe upgrade it to disable a couple more things. |

Yeah on that day I actually wanted to destroy Taz's class 3 with the missile-launcher but every time he saw I was following him (near the black hole) he changed his direction... So I went against the bh where Duke of Southend was. Unfortunately he had no class 3 and I made about -1500 .
I think disable ships can be good when you know the enemy has sophisticated ships but I also never really got to use them as I liked missile-launchers... |

can it even though be improved..
i think as it is very special it is rather costy...
maybe it could effect more ships or maybe have a shot against enemy fleet in addition or something ???
(ps: in no case it should be CHEAPER, i think , i d consider to improve it and make it a LITTLE BIT MORE EXPENSIVE) |
