If u dont have a shipyard , can u get ships from a pre-warp planet?
or it is just a bug? |

My answer is yes, even though I have never been in that predicament.
You can still use your fleets and your manpower when you have no shipyard. I see no reason why the shipyard would be needed to pick up already-built ships. |

You cannot recover ships from the pre-warp ship planets while your shipyard is out of commission. I mistakenly thought that ship yards were for just building ships however this is not quite true.
Once a shipyard starts production of a fleet, getting destroyed does not halt production of the ships already started.. Production will carry on untill the ship(s) are built. You cannot however, begin new construction until your shipyard is complete. |

actually you could not pic up the ships from the prewarpplanets while your own shipyard was destroyed.
we considered this as a bug and fixed it.
so now you can  |
