Ok heres a question for more experienced players..
As some of you know i have been building ships (some of you may know of a few of mine) but i have a question, what is the process of building ships go?
Like so far i think it should go like this in my head of course..
Step 1: Find a "well know" problem
Step 2: Get solution to problem
Step 3: Calculate the problem with the solution
Step 4: Start a new ship if not balanced
Step 5: Post on Forum
this is what i follow for the most part.. some of my ships are not to bad like the battleship cruiser and Tromod, but i just wondering if im missing something, whether its small or big. it would help my thinking process a lot if some vets gave me suggestions to my process _________________ -==Frag the Weak, Hurdle the Dead.==- |

if you want to invent a ship you should consider the following
1). Making it balanced if a ship is stronger than all other ships it will disintergrate the gameplay, MP, LP and AP is a strong aspect of this make sure it has proponate ammounts for what it does and also put in drawbacks is necassary like self destruct. Remember if it blows up you lose the equivilent points as MP it costs so make sure it does something worth loosing those points and dont go mad on the MP but make it balanced aswell as useful
2). Purpose is it particually useful and is anyone going to bother researching it? Will it make a good combo with allready existing ships?
3). Is it worth paying credits to invent it
4). Is it just going too piss everyone off in the forum
5). Allways get peoples opinions before you post because quite often other people see flaws you don't _________________ "Although the constant shadow of certain death looms over everyday, the pleasures and joys of life can be so fine and deeply affecting that the heart is nearly stilled by astonishment" - Dean R Koontz |

very good,
and another thing:
# look inside the forum inventions topics (new- and possible new inventions), if the ship you think about isn`t invented already or something like it is already in "impossible invcentions" |
