cheap good notebooks are for example "combaq armada" model e500 or bigger from ebay, but you need one with at least 256 mb ram. you get them for 300 dollar at ebay

if you need a desktop pc i would buy the parts separately and put it together yourself for altogether max 250 dollar

Make account and start buying and selling. But all Payment methods are or for creditcard ( from your parents, if they allow to ) or with something like Paypal ( for that, u have to be 18 )

So for me it doesnt work.

Just do Mac. Mac all the way. Once u had it, u dont want back to PC

yeah, but Mac is a more user-friendly and sophisticated Unix system. It is easier for people who dont know that much about Operating Systems/Software or Hardware.

And Mac Hardware just rulez.

You can runLlinux on a PowerPC.

Why is it that Windows always require more hardware than Linux/BSD (which include OS X, since it is based on BSD) to do the same job. When I saw the specs for Longhorn 2 years ago I was astonished, now it is still a lot. That is probably due the canceling of 2 of 3 promised new systems (Avalon, Indigo, WinFS)

You COULD let it run better by having another OS lol
sorry this kinda make me laugh, XP on a P2??? That runs like sh*t and especially with that kind of memory, just try another OS first, it will run better then.
