This just doesn't seems to work out. I looked at it and i still don't get it.
this is the battle report
your class 1 vs enemy class 1: V ^
you:
1115 fighters
83 mosquitoes
3 bounty hunters
211 nano bombers
enemy:
1600 penguins
197 splinters destroy 394 ships
197 nano bomber destroy 197 ships
1009 fighters vs 1009 penguins
2 penguins vs 2 bounty hunters
76 penguins vs 76 mosquitoes
197 penguins vs 197 nano bombers
1008 penguins vs 1008 fighters
losses:
you :
1008 fighters
76 mosquitoes
2 bounty hunters
197 nano bombers
enemy :
1600 penguins
score in this subbattle: 114
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you look at the detail you see that he seems to have the correct # or penguins in the 1st part:
197 splinters destroy 394 ships
197 nano bomber destroy 197 ships
1009 fighters vs 1009 penguins
The problem seems to be the 2nd:
2 penguins vs 2 bounty hunters
76 penguins vs 76 mosquitoes
197 penguins vs 197 nano bombers
1008 penguins vs 1008 fighters
You can see that 1283 penguins fought, but the 1st part showed that i destroyed 591 ships. That doesn't add up. 1283+591= 1674 ships.
Also, i'm beginning to wonder why 197 nano-bombers attacked. I know the battle sequence is random, but how did 197 bombers attack at once and not 211. In addition, if the 1st part said i destroyed 591 ships, how do an extra 74 ships attack me?

Hmm, it is is a bit puzzling, you also only seemed to have half as many splinters as I would have thought you should have. _________________ Space Mercenaries Inc.

U destroyed 591 ships before he could give a shot, so those 74 should have been dead.
So u need to get 188 points.
But I dont think they will give u those few points, cause the problem is too small. I am sorry for that mate but at least u have proven u are right. |

actually i think i should have won more points, but i don't expect pts back. This should be fixed because i like using the nano-bombers sometimes, but if they don't work, i can't use them _________________ From the deepest depths of the Galaxy, a new

Blackmagic the battle makes sense. Firstly the subattle brings out the total number of nano bombers that fire. They did not fire at the beginning of the battle but throughout it. So 1 nano bomber fights it kills 3 ships overall and self distructs. Note : ships that have already fought are targetted first. So every nano bomber is a 2 gain not a 3 gain so you killed 394 non-fired ships not 591 so it makes sense. Basically the remaining nano-bomber that did not fire didnt because there was no more penguins to kill and so the battle ended.
Did this explain it? The battle is correct |

That where you're wrong. The nanobombers do not self-destruct.
battle details:
multiplies AP/LP by 0/0 of 1 ship of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in class 1
battlemessage: "nano bomber destroys ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: mod,enemy,1,1,all,*,0,0,nano bomber destroys )
modifies AP/LP by 0/-1 of 2 ships of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in class 1
battlemessage: "splinter destroys ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: mod,enemy,2,1,all,+,0,-1,splinter destroys)
Thus it still doesn't explain the extra ships. Also i realize that there is only a 1 point gain because the penguin shoots down the nano-bomber and teh nano-bomber in turn destroys 3 ships. In the sub-sub battle i should a gained 591 pts then you subtract any ships that where killed. That would be 76 mosquitos and 2 bounty hunters. If you see, there is a mis calculation in the battle. the loss of 1008 fighters should equal out 0 pts "+" or "-" 1 point because the same number of penguins was destroyed _________________ From the deepest depths of the Galaxy, a new

hold on....i think i figured it out...... the battle may be rite, but i don't understand why one is 1008 vs 1008 and the other is 1009 vs 1009 _________________ From the deepest depths of the Galaxy, a new

That tells you the very first ship to fire was a fighter that killed a penguin. So then the face-off of 1008 fighter versus 1008 pengs commenced. The system just adds the 1 fighter killing the penguin at the beginning. Unfired penguin (it didnt shoot) |

The nano bombers do explode and kill one ship, and two splinters do 1 damage to 2 more ships.
So I think the penguins couldnt have killed any bombers that allready exploded. But DK is right about the fact that not all the bombers have fought. that's just how the sequence of fighting is. So next time hope they all fight
But it idd doesnt explain the 74 extra penguins. So that is a bug indeed. They just came up, killed 74 ships and dissapeared. That idd sucks. |

well why should it be a bug
isn't it possible that ,lets say the 77 difference came from aready fired penguins killed by the splinters and not 77 non fired penguins
that should explain the difference
