there isn t a veteran help so i ll post here:
me and dk had a little arguement about this: what would win wasps and shield generators or troikas??
i said that the wasp shield generator would be a nice fleet to use with specters, he said it wouldn t work as shield gens would shield ships and stop them from fighting, i said that some of the ships would still fire. he said that troikas would wipe it out, i said "yeah... no wait! the shield gens would deal 4 damage when powered up by wasps so they d kill the troikas." he wasn t convinced and said it would be a draw or a win for the troikas.
in short who d win???
personally i think its either a draw or a wasp shield gen victory.

| it would be quite the draw, i've fought this batlle over and over, the shield wasp eagle combo wins but not with over 1000 points look more in the direction of +200-600 |

Well lets draw up both side from 5000 mp
1 MS each -320 4670 MP left
4670/16 = 291 troikas
shield generators/wasps ratio 4:1
180 wasps 672 shield generators
So basically maximum troikas will take out is the 672 shield generators and you would lose all the troikas due to shield generators having 5Ap. Wasps would get shielded.
180*4 = 720 troika modules killed 51 troikas left.
So troikas would lose 3840 points shield/wasp would lose 2688 points.
Thus shield/wasp would gain 1100-1200 points. Hope everyone understands. Greets
