Battle sequences start with Class 1. Your Class 1 vs. enemies class 1.
Then Class 2 fight each other, followed by Class 3 and then Class 4.

However, if you do not have a class 2, your enemy's class 1 will attack your class 3.

Hope I have helped,
Greetz

Arg, thats not true, Methi.

Its:
Your Class 1 vs. enemy Class 1.
Your Class 3 vs. enemy Class 2. [2]
Your Class 3 vs. enemy Class 3 or
Your Class 4 vs. enemy Class 3 if you dont have any Class 3 left after [2].
Your Class 4 vs. enemy Class 4 if something left.

(only true for the mentioned example)

first turn: your c1 against enemy c1
second turn: your c3 against enemy c2
end of battle
