my idea sonds kind of dumb but i like it. On a certain Menu screen maby research, you can expirement combinig different types of ships as long as they are in the same race and class. the only thing is that it might cost extra man power
Example: interceptor and mosquito. a sheilded fighter used to wipe out class 1 ships.

hmm.... what i dont like is the fact that you could combine a cruiser with a dreadnought. Raising the Dreadnoughts attacks by 100.
I personnally dont like it. There would be too many unbalanced ships in the game. |

hehe i add 15 cyclopses 15 apollos and 15 plasma gunships in one ship with 4500 lp and can kill 1500 class 1 150 class 2 and 15 class 3 with every shot, lol maybe i combine it with an ms so it travels alone. hehe that sounds very nice but totally unbalanced.
picture this : combine 5000 kamis together and add 2 fighters so it deals 175000 aps and kills the 2 fighters, mwahaha the dominion would be toast |

okay another improvement. you can only combine two ships at a time and the attack/life points are atomatically reduced to a more reasonable size |
