i cant put avators of my PC, even when i fix the pixel and size it give me an sript error

First of all i like the overall look of the new forum.
It is far more futuristic.
But i have a few questions.
First of all, i liked my llast avatar (the moving witchking with da flaming sword) however, it was offline so i tried the link but it says it was too big a file and that the pixels werent right.
Does this mean Admin that all the avatars are going to be smaller than in the last forum?
The next thing that bothers me are the smileys. They are too common. The spacetrace forum had its own unique smileys that made it special, so if not too much bother i would like them back.
The picture of our ranks are missing. Im sure they will be back soon

And lastly. Kames avatar just got a hell of alot bigger, and it looks really cool now.
I was just wondering, when i get my Witchking avvy back will mine be really big too.
At this very moment the new forum sucks but that is only becasue it is new. As soon as these problems and suggestions are fixed/answered i am sure it will be way better than the last forum.
The things i really like are.
the overall look
big avatars.
the forum part in the url being at the end, much easier to remember


Admin, i see not this forum for what it is. But what it will become. And if i predict right then i say good work!

I think you must give php rights to write in the avatars directory to be able to upload own avatars. And I miss the Black&White style, was much better than this one.

I've liked my first avatar; that of gollum. Now Gollum is to 'big'.
The last forum looked cooler than this one. The smileys whore nicer to. The new forum has not even my 'commander' rank picture. Nobody has a rank picture. Even spacetrace has no fleet admiral picture.

- the smileys will be changed to the old ones, so pls don`t use them until then, cause your expressed emotions could be wrong after (use disable smileys button underneath the textfield ;) )
- the avatars will be fixed too
- i am not sure, if we really need the rankings???
- there will be added more themes/styles like the old black/white... any suggestions? google for "phpbb themes" or here: http://www.phpbb.de/styles/demo.php?s=60

EWerm, the smilies are messed up. If I write "old" it gets messed up. I'm sure you guys see what I mean. the lettercombination O L is a pretty common one, now it's this: ol. Please fix that.

why are my avatar not working, i uploaded it from my machine. also why can't the admin go back to the way avitars where in the old forum, i like that better and the size thing would not be a problem
