retribution missile (class 1 ship)


this missile has an extremely powerful antimatter warhead, capable of punching through any armour in the known universe. however, its advanced target acquisition systems are incapable of targeting ships the normal way; instead they lock on to any energy signature coming from an enemy ship.

this missile acts in all classes, and kills the first enemy ship to use a special ability.


attack/life: 0/1
manpower: 2

researchtime: 1 d
buildingtime: 12 h


e-ray-technology
needed research:
improved targeting

battle details:modifies LP by -5000 of 1 ship of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in the same class but some ships and buildings are immune against this effect
battlemessage: "lock-on ... ships"
(battle engine syntax: kill,enemy,1,this,all,lock-on)
self destructs!
(battle engine syntax: sd)

There was no modifier for this ship, so couldn't add it. It is meant to kill the first ship to use ANY special. It could be an interceptor, it could be a major reconstructor.

Mp should be zero.

i like it already and 2 mp is a bit low cause it kills in every class
its gonna be real strong

Check the earlier post, the bomber that fires this is 20 mp. This is just the missile, it should be 0 mp.

just read it but still if you gonna use it you use it against class 3 fleets and than the 20 mp for the launcer is okay i guess
course defending the strong ship with a small class 2 wil work against it

I think that it must be 0 mp, because it makes no sense. Which bonehead would sit in a rocket that has remote control?!?!?

You need to add all the triggers necessary. The mp must be higher, the closest example is the evaporator, which kills a ship if its modifies + - or destroy I think.

Example f|trigger_0_rec I dont know how this particular trigger would work, you will have to do it again I am afraid.

Yep, the ship must have mp, not the missile itself.
