Is it normal that you can fight against fleets of an abandoned planet? |

well peace,
why should it not be possible???
i always thought that these planets are still in space and in case an active player
(not the owner) is kinda parking his fleet there and u arrive with your fleet then a battle happens, i guess.

ah, sorry you didnt mean the base fleets??
i think then it is possibly, but then i wonder why you asked, as you just would see them if they are somewhere and could attack them.
if the admins made it that those fleets were not attackable you wouldnt see them right.

ok it is like this:
1. if there are two fleets at the same place that have a different attitude then they fight, no matter if you are in the same alliance, use transwarp or anything.
2. a player that doesent login for 8 days is marked as abandoned and all the fleets will disapear into subspace after some hours. (it is random, so it could be possible, that they stay for another day) then there is no fleet to encounter left, not even the base fleet.
@Philamon: so what went wrong ???
did you fight against a fleet of an abandoned player or not? and how long was he abandoned? |

I don't know how long he was abandoned. But I
remember I thought of kicking him because he
is no active player. |

04.07 08:28 - battle between Queen of The Borg, Birdie of Firebird
Offline since 25d and 5h...
Means he was abandoned for 2d when the battle happened. |

@admin:A Friend asked me to send Dsp probe to a abandoned planet I think it was 8-12 days abandoned maybe more, showing a cloaked planet or something like that. I ask aother friend to make up a decloaking probe and he sent it to the abandoned planet decloaked the base and two small fleets 3 0 1 0 / 0 0 1 0 / 0 0 1 3 , the 1st friend that ask for the dsp sent a fleet 1# on code attack and his fleet fought the two fleet's killed a couple of the fleets ship's and battle stop
and scored 55 from at attack
Sent a 2rd fleet in and fought the fleet that was left and the base 0 0 1 0 / 0 0 0 3 didn't have the A/P points to hurt this planet research building battle ended. He sent his fleets back home. 24 hrs later the planet recloaked and i removed the dsp.
