I was watching stargate today and I suddenly got this excellent idea for the game.
Obviously this plan has got something to do with wormholes, but it is also connected to the black hole, chronoton Nebula and the Graviton pulsar so listen up. (lol, I sound like my maths teacher). There can be ten wormholes but only seven work. The three that don’t work are the Black hole wormhole Graviton Pulsar wormhole and the Chronoton Nebula wormhole. The reason being; the dominion destroyed their controls. Anyway here is my plan:
The admin makes another seven pre-warp planets scattered around the galaxy so I don’t even know where they are.
If you send a fleet to a wormhole planet then it has two choices :
One: Guard it and earn 200 points a day or
Two: Go through it and come out the corresponding wormhole set in an entire different part of the galaxy instantly. However, you can only COME OUT of the Chronoton Nebula the Graviton Pulsar and the Black Hole.
So here goes,
· Wormhole #1 (Planet Red giant) cords bla/bla/bla connects to Wormhole #2 (planet black hole) cords 500/500/50 (You cannot enter the black hole and come out of red giant)
· Wormhole #3 (planet white dwarf) cords bla/bla/bla connects to wormhole #4 Chronoton Nebula cords (lol to lazy to write it down) (You cannot enter CN and come out of white dwarf)
· Wormhole #5 (planet Gravity pulse) cords bla bla bla connects to wormhole #6 Graviton pulsar (you cannot enter graviton pulsar and come out of gravity pulse.)
· This is where it gets interesting because the other wormholes are 2 way systems.
· Wormhole #7 planet ( something) connects to wormhole #8 (something) or vice versa
· And #9 is connected to #10. As 10 is connected to nine.
So you either hold the wormhole earning 200 a day or you can go through them bringing one place closer to nowhere.
The best thing about this is the last four wormholes, their names won’t be known so you might connect to a wormhole and not even know it!!!!!!
Im not going to put a poll on this entry because the last time I did that all that came up was no.
So please please put this into the game is it would make it reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeely exciting!
Oh, even though the GP, CN and Black hole are wormholes, capturing them will still earn 600 points a day.
WHAT YOU THINK?

yes i like it apart from the 2 hundred points a day bit. also why not put an apostate sphere in defense mode at the holes (apart from bh cronoton and graviton) so that all fleets that go there must be in defense mode or die, so hat even the whimpyest of fleets can pass untouched by oponents(unless they wish to supher a painful death.

This is a really nice idea.
Imagine 1 or 2 fleets flying towards wormhole.. bladiba
oops forgot to change attack code.. blabla...Ka Boom!!
You look again... no more fleets.
Score down 2500 points.
People cying at their mothers. Sueing Admin.
I like it. Tears, death, wimps at their mothers.

I like the idea too.
Or mabey a little bit change.
All wormholes get points, but if you use a wormhole, it will be random where you come.
So if a alliance use the BH and i use a other wormhole, i come random in a other wormhole, so it can be i will fight at the BH without knowing it. And all wormholes are 2 ways connected.
It makes the space a little bit smaller, but you don't know where you come and where and against who you fight at t he wormhole.

Just to let you know that Melkor of Meltoran made this up. He didnt know how to join the forums, so i just wanted to post his name
Nice idea Melkor.
Can I add to this?
What about if theres a 50% chance at the black hole,
Chance 1: You get out and everythings fine.
Chance 2: You get sucked in and ur down 2500 points like Kardinal said up there ^^^^

great idea, it would add an extra dimension to the game, you go in one end, and go out the other and you dont know what to expect. like a giant space slug (ignore that)
add it!!!!!!!!
quick!!!!!!!!!

i really like the idea, but we thought about this earlyer.
it would make the 3-dimensional aspect of the game a bit useless. if you could travel from everywhere in the galaxy to other places.
we think, that with the long distances between some areas, in the glaaxy, there would start a conflict between different regions in the galaxy and alliances are looking for members, that live nearby.
this would never happen if everyone can travel fast.
but:
we could add wormholes, that go to really different areas of the galaxy, coordinates like 700/700/50 or so |

i think this localism is always usefull, so even if there are some wormholes that connect the outer regions with the center: there will be local groups.
so i say: let'S have some wormholes |

I agree admin, people do not complain about spacetrace being small they complain (and like) the way it is big.
Admin that would be great if you could amke some wormholes conect to the 700's but only if there is something worth going there for.
Perhaps if you were to move the chronoton nebula and Graviton pulsar out there or something.
And btw spacetrace is right!!!
IT would be absolutely awaesome (and thats the first time i ever said that word because i reserve it for very good things lol) to have local wormholes.
Perhaps one in every alliance center?? |

Okay, here's a crazy, wacky, idea.
When a new player joins his/her planet is automatically set up somewhere between the 400's and the 600's.
Well, How about setting up wormholes near the 200's and 700's and allowing players to begin the game out there.
When that happens players will have to use wormholes in order to travel.
Btw admin we would think that we are travelling through a wormhole but to make it easier for your programming you could make it so that we travel at transwarp 99 when we are travelling through the wormhole.
I hope this idea is considered.
AND MERRY CHRISTMAS
