many pl asked for a trading system in some way.
i have an idea:
the planetray systems which can be seen in the planet details have no use at the time. they could be used.
the conditions on that planets are defined already (gravity etc.)
there could be a set of rules which allow life forms to exist on it (or not). the way how they exist or not are defined by "genes".
pl can collect life forms on those planets and trade them. good genetic engineers can combine new lifeforms (which will lead to scientific popularity). pl that are best get the right to change the rules of life (compare rules game:http://forum.spacetrace.com/viewtopic.php?topic=3188&forum=12&12 )
the collection of genes/lifeforms are made with scientific ships. you need from any planet you visit an allowance (or you battle for it  )
this could be a intersting subgame for the long winter time and would add trading/non-agressive game goals and would fill the universe with life  .
the combination with the rule game is very interesting... define the rules of life ! |
